Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Ontario

Shaun’s inviting Home provided a wonderful place for our family to be together and share the week of my Father-in-laws Funeral services. Being on Oneida Lake with the incredible homestead and views provided endless opportunities for Birding, solace and joyful times together. Everything we needed was there and/or was easily accessible. Our family has extensive food allergies and the fully equipped Kitchen made creating gourmet meals simple. This was my initial Airbnb experience and truly was stellar, we will be returning and staying here for each NY visit in the future. I strongly recommend this peaceful escape, just minutes to shopping and adventure.

Our stay on the lake was wonderful. The housing was perfect and met our needs. This would be a great house to rent during the summer months. WE had a little trouble locating the house initially as it is located among other houses and the drive down to the house is not clearly marked. If you are coming from the south you need to make a turn almost opposite the way you are coming into a steep drive to the housing. It needs to be better marked, maybe with an arrow and house number. The house could also us a little address sign on the walkway for clarification. HOWEVER, the stay was great and getting information to the person in charge was easy. The accommodations were very good. The view was wonderful. The water frontage is a bit steep but there are steps to bring you to the water. In all this is a wonderful home for vacation with amenities about 15 minutes away. I would give Nancy or Eric a call again.

Josh was great. Very communicative and hospitality was great for our special weekend. House was stocked with everything and very clean. Location was great, right on the lake and we felt right at home.

This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

Our family enjoyed our stay! The house had plenty of room for all of us. Lots of natural light and a beautiful view. This would be a great place to rent in the summer! If we return to the arena in the summer we will definitely book again.

Was perfect for our short getaway, cleaning fee could have been reduced since we were there only 1 night and very little cleaning was needed

Beautiful, quiet location. We loved having the lake view off of the back deck & watching the waterfowl as well as getting to see so many red-winged blackbirds in the fields on our walks. The house is clean & was perfect for our group of 7 (& 2 dogs) to eat together and chill together or apart. Lots of space inside & outdoors. Hot tub with lake view was a definite plus. Herkimer Mines are only an hour away & Destiny, USA was under 30 minutes - a great rainy day destination. Thank you Liz & Jon for providing an unforgettable stay for our family to make memories! We would rebook in a heartbeat if we’re in the area again.

Jamie's place is amazing! The airbnb is spacious, clean, and quiet. There is a restaurant right there and views of Lake Ontario within walking distance. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautifully decorated, clean, and private location!

Doreen and Derek were excellent hosts. They were warm, friendly and receptive. The place was clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had all necessary amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. We would like to visit the place again if the opportunity arises.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Erika really made it cozy and comfortable with very nice touches. The location was perfect for us. It was close to wineries we enjoy going to in keuka lake plus close to the center of town where we walked every day. We hope to stay there again when we visit the finger lakes again.

From the moment we arrived, Carm and her husband were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful—making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was spotless and well-equipped with all the amenities we could ask for. The highlight had to be the stunning backyard overlooking Lake Ontario—waking up to that view every morning was pure magic! We also enjoyed a cozy fire in the backyard, which made our evenings even more special. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and beautiful scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Carm, for your hospitality—we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway. 10/10!

David & Debby are wonderful hosts! We had a cold and rainy weekend for our stay, but their cozy home was just perfect to keep us warm and snug. Comfy beds, squeaky clean, and such a beautiful view. We will definitely be back!

My mom and her husband stayed in Christina’s beautiful home. They had nothing but great things to say! It was super clean, peaceful, and the view from the balcony is breath taking. She made multiple comments on how comfy the bed was too; one of her best sleeps in a long time. Christina is super quick to respond and such a great host. I have stayed in Christina’s place in the past and knew it would be perfect for my mom’s stay. Looking forward to booking here again in the future.

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

This host went above and beyond with details and everything was exactly as described. The home was extremely clean, which for a clean freak like me-is wonderful! Lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and flexible. Beautiful place to stay inside and the view of Lake Ontario is spectacular on the outside! Hope to go again sometime before summer is over!

Such an awesome stay! The cottage was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The lakefront views were even better in person — we spent so much time just hanging out on the deck and by the water. It was the perfect spot to relax and unplug. The hosts were super friendly and made everything really easy. Honestly didn’t want to leave. Definitely coming back!

This stay was great. It was a winter wonderland during our stay and the hot tub was a huge plus. It’s so close to Orillia/Barrie stores if one should need anything and a variety of restaurants as well. The residence had everything we needed as far as amenities, especially when it came to making a few meals. We packed a pan/some utensils but really didn’t need too. Overall fantastic staycation and Kevin was super responsive/attentive and quick to offer things like snow removal if we needed when we got an influx of snow; it was very much appreciated.

We’ve been staying at Jessica’s properties for the past four years and always enjoy our stay. If you have a boat or other water vessel, this place provides a free slip for the duration of your stay which is great! Jessica’s properties are always extremely clean, free of clutter and provide all the necessities and more! The restaurant and general store at the marina (on site) are very convenient. If you do have a boat or rent one on site, be sure to visit Juniper Island! It’s always a fav of ours to visit.

We had the best summer before school starts , thanks to Henry’s cottage! There lots to do, campfire, kayak, boating etc. We love the jetty by the lake and we have coffee there every morning!!! The backyard is so spacious it has the playground that kids have plenty of stuff to do! The place is very quiet at night! We also love the bedrooms and it has no problems accomodating our family plus two more. We have a good experience here and Henry is very responsive on our concerns and questions! We will definitely come back !! Thanks!!!

We have stayed at Paul's cottage several times. Always a great time. Small but very comfortable and in a quiet country setting. I would definitely recommend. Paul is a great host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage, it is a special place. Communication with Bryelle was responsive and easy. When we noticed that the propane tank for the bbq was empty she dropped a full one off within minutes. The cottage itself has been completely renovated, everything is beautiful and high end. The lake is peaceful with clear water great for swimming. It was a great spot to spend our 20th anniversary and for a family get together before we dropped our daughter off at university. We would love to come back next time we are in Kingston!
