Alexander's flat in Madison was perfect for our stay. Right downtown, a stone's throw from the capital, and about a mile from the heart of the UW campus, this home was fantastic with a beautiful view of Lake Mendota. The best part of the experience was how easy it was to work with Alexander. He was very responsive to every question, he was proactive about giving us information needed for an easy and comfortable stay, and he was extremely thorough in the information needed about checking in and out of the apartment. We stayed here last year also. It is a very quaint and private place. Everything is wonderful. And very accessible to area restaurants and shopping. Hosts are personable and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Will book again. Cynthia

Alex was incredibly flexible with our group’s varied check-ins and check-outs. Other members of my group met him and his partner and expressed that they were both very friendly and welcoming! It is an older building so the floors squeak a bit, but I have no complaints. We enjoyed Madison and this place was perfect for our stay. The sunroom overlooking the lake was unbelievable!

We had such an amazing stay! There was so much to do in Madison and our hosts were great. Would recommend a stay here to anyone considering!

I had a great stay at Lori’s place in Monona! The space is the entire lower level of her home, offering plenty of privacy while still feeling welcoming. Lori was friendly and responsive—even helping me quickly my first night when I accidentally locked myself out after a long travel day. The home has a wonderful atmosphere, with the occasional aroma of homemade cooking making it feel extra cozy. The space was clean, quiet, and comfortable—a perfect retreat from a packed schedule of book events. It was just what I needed to regroup, get work done, and plan ahead before heading back out. The location is super convenient—Lyfts are easy to get, and getting to Madison was quick and seamless. Whether you’re in town for work or just looking for a peaceful, well-kept space, Lori’s place offers a great balance of accessibility and relaxation. Would absolutely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I had THE BEST time staying at Alpine Oasis. It was the cutest little home away from home. It's the perfect place for anyone who wants to escape from reality to a peaceful retreat right on the lake. We planned our visit around his birthday and spent the day hanging out in the backyard, enjoying nature and the hot tub! One morning, we had breakfast on the dock and admired the scenery and other homes. The house was so clean and smelt good too! They had everything from seasonings for cooking -- to a basket of toiletries in the bathroom, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. It was nice being so close (less than 10 minutes to the grocery store) to Wautoma but nestled away in the trees along Alpine Lake. We would 100% revisit once the warmer weather returns.

We absolutely loved our stay at Doty’s place! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home — warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out. Every detail was so well considered; anytime we needed something, it was right where we expected it to be. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made it so easy to relax and settle in. It was a perfect fit for us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!

If I could give Michael/my stay 6 stars, I would! The place was wonderfully clean and had everything you might need, Michael was a responsive, helpful host, and the community of Briggsville was a wonderful place to stay. Loved being on the Lake's edge. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and there are some great small local eats. I will totally be back to stay again if I have opportunity!

Overall this Airbnb was great. Michael is extremely responsive and resolved any to all requests and questions in minutes. Only thing that was a suprise to us was that there was no tv in the family room, but Michael assisted us with that as well. Also the area of Wisconsin is great, very peaceful and amazing wildlife. We had an amazing stay here and would love to stay here again.

First off and most importantly, Benjamin was extremely communicative in the lead up to the trip. He was flexible in areas where you’d like a host to be flexible, and clear where you’d like them to be clear. At the end of the day, communication is priority #1. The house and location were fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with our group, and everyone agreed it was exactly what we were looking for out of not only a golf weekend, but a weekend away with good buds. If the group wanted to run the same trip back next year, I don’t see why we wouldn’t book with Benjamin again.

House was a bit dusty and you could tell there were some outdated appliances. Other than that host was very responsive and clear with check in instructions. Kitchen and bathroom supplies provided for us. Right off the lake with a nice balcony view of the pool. Me and my family enjoyed our stay here !

Our group of fourteen really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice and within walking distance to the pool and play areas. We didn’t get to swim in the lake but did make use of the kayaks and paddle boards that were available for our use. The kitchen is well equipped which is a great plus. Thanks for a nice getaway weekend.

We had so much fun at our stay!! The place is extremely clean and has a brand new kitchen & new appliances. It's nice having a full bathroom downstairs & upstairs. The upstairs bedroom is lofted so the kids enjoyed seeing if various items of theirs could fly :)) There was a Roku box on both tvs upstairs and downstairs so it was easy to watch shows/movies. Wifi was solid. Its an easy walk to the activity center. They have tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, racquetball, pool & hot tub along with changing facilities; all free to reserve/use. You could probably spend all week here and never leave! It was our first time here so we did all the touristy things and loved it: Bellos Circus, Rick Wilcox Magic Theater, WizardQuest, Ripleys, Mirror Maze, Big Chief Gokarts, Kalahari Waterpark, Frischs BigBoy etc! It was super convenient having a walmart, DD, kohls, McDs, Ross etc so close. The house was very quiet. Be sure to bring shampoo and any food condiments, otherwise everything is here.

Fantastic place, we stayed in one of the 4 bedroom apartments and had a great time. The apartment was meticulously clean and very comfortable. We will be making this destination a regular trip. The pool with jacuzzi ,beach at beautiful Castle Lake , deck with beautiful view and many others attractions were great for the family. Was able to get in a little shore fishing as well.

Our first experience with an AirBNB and it did not disappoint! It was a great place for our two adult sons and younger four children to reconnect! We wanted a place we could stay without temptation to venture to other places and less crowded. This was the perfect little get away for all of us while my oldest son was home on leave from the Navy!

We had a perfect stay at Tom’s condo in the Dells. Communication was easy, the host was very accommodating and the condo is in great condition.

Matthew had a really nice listing for his house. We adored the setting and ambiance. Peaceful and relaxing. When I had questions Matthew answered them quickly. The location is optimal for larger families; it fulfilled all of our requirements for the weekend. We absolutely recommend it and are certain to revisit.
