Vacation rentals with breakfast in La Veleta

This is one of those gems you run across in the world! They really nailed it. I own a travel company, have quite high expectations and I travel a lot. I’m always searching for the gems around the world where somebody has created something magical. This is one of those places. My friend and I were attending a wellness ceremony and wanted a property that was very zen to stay at before and after the ceremony. The property was exactly what we were looking for. Many properties look nice in this area but the creators don’t pay attention to the details, functionality and service. Not here. Every detail is well thought out inside and out, everything functions properly and effectively and the groundskeepers/butlers, Laura and Mario are second to none at their job! Anything we wanted..they were there to accommodate. From the amazing breakfasts Laura cooked to the sacred copal incense baths Mario poured on us…these beautiful people were amazing! We will certainly be returning to this property!

This home is absolutely gorgeous! Armando and Andrea are amazing caretakers and are very attentive. The views were stunning, it was incredibly spacious, in a great location, and walkable to many restaurants and the beach. We fit two families there very comfortably. The children had a blast and so did the adults. We’ll book this place again for sure.

Everything we would have wanted. On the beach, with a pool, next to a restaurant (Jungle Fish). Property Manager Neli and Housekeeper Pati were both amazing, welcoming, and accommodating. House was clean, everything worked great. Parking spot for our car. Even saw some wildlife (coati's, raccoons) on property. Would highly recommend.

Karla’s home is beautiful and comfortable. The location is a bit off of the beaten path, but getting around to neighboring beaches and towns is very easy. Karla had great suggestions on places to visit and travel advice. The water at the house is salinated, so I recommend having extra filtered water on hand.

Andrea was a truly exceptional, delightful, sweet, perfect host! He clearly really wanted us to be as happy as we possibly could - we had no idea breakfast was part of the package, and his beach recommendation (X'cacel) was an unexpected pearl we would never have encountered otherwise. We got the tucked-away jungle experience we wanted without being too far from the amenities of Tulum pueblo.

Es un excelente lugar muy limpio y tiene muy buena ubicación en la zona hotelera. Cuenta con un temazcal, alberca y acceso a playas que son tranquilas, poco concurridas y una de ellas es la playa que usa el hotel azulik ya que el alojamiento esta a media cuadra de este, tiene muy bonita vista desde la rompiente en las rocas, los precios son bastante accesibles en comparación con lo demás en esa zona, pero lo mas IMPORTANTE es la excelente atención que brinda el encargado del lugar Ezequiel quien te da todas las atenciones de primera, la realidad es que nuestra visita en Tulum dio un cambio rotundo después de sus tips, recomendaciones y sus indicaciones para poder disfrutar de cada lugar de la mejor manera. Definitivamente fue la mejor decision quedarnos en su Alojamiento. Muchas gracias por todo!!!!

Casa muy simpática, lugar muy lindo en la naturaleza. La gente muy simpática también. Y Ana es muy agradable, siempre disponible, y muy divertida. La pasamos muy bien en Muyil.

The host Gibran was awesome. Very responsive, thoughtful and attentive. The perks of nearby spa and gym use were great and the room was what I needed; away from road noise, great AC, clean and peaceful, with great wifi.

The place is very comfortable and looks exactly like the photos. However, I had some issues getting in. I recommend taking a taxi from the bus stop, as the road isn’t walkable with luggage. Also, this area has many new developments, making it hard to find using the address alone. Use Google Maps with the building name instead. The apartment itself was comfortable, with great amenities like a washing machine. There were a few hiccups, such as a temporary internet outage, which was inconvenient for me on that day. I appreciated the host’s responsiveness—they delivered a large water bottle to my apartment and offered bike rentals. While the bike wasn’t in great condition, it was usable. I ended up cutting my trip to Tulum short, but that had nothing to do with the apartment, which was a good and comfortable place to stay.

Teresa was absolutely amazing! Always contacted directly thru the app & always reached out & responded. Check in & Check out was a breeze! She also gave a detailed list of all recommended spots! I'll definitely stay at Era Hotel again!

Everything was great, they have a really beautiful, loving cat, please keep looking out for her. The out street has lots of holes but on the bright side is almost at the very beginning of the street, so its not too much of a problem. The internet is pretty stable, the common pool was always nice and clean. It has everything you need for long stays and it feels safe because you are inside a building with passcode to enter.

Chandree is the kindest & most helpful host you can ask for. Casa Balam is 15 min drive South of Tulum - it’s peaceful & quiet. It is a hidden oasis..the kitchen has everything, bed v comfortable and the apt itself is large and the Terrace is huge! I would love to return with a yoga group or friends (downstairs at Casa Margherita is a massive - retreat house, ideal for 8-10 people). I arranged a transfer with Chandree & her husband. They picked me up from the bus station in Tulum. There’s a regular bus every hour &/or if you drive it easy to find (ask for directions). Chandree gave me a delicious breakfast of fresh papaya, mango, & pina, followed by organic eggs (from her chickens) & avocado...ask Chandree &/or her hubby Guatemoc how to walk to the lake nearby. Perfect place to swim..Thank you both for everything.

Ion’s space was a home away from home. Many details showcased the hospitality of the host. We were guided by Juan, the local manager at the check in. We were able to store our luggages early before check in with Ion’s help. The space itself has many quirky and cozy decorations and amenities. The roof is cute and ideal for stargazing. The courtyard gives an idyllic vibe. Linen bathrobes and complete cooking utensils are very welcoming. The location is super convenient and safe. Most importantly, Ion’s space has a monitor and HDMI cable that made remote work so much better! We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time!

This place was EVERYTHING.,The location is just absolutely stunning, literally steps from the beach & the ocean was incredibly stunning, my jaw dropped over how beautiful it was. The room was very simple, but so lovely. We loved how they bring you breakfast to your room every single morning + it was always delicious. Melissa & Nancy truly go above & beyond to make you feel right at home, they are such wonderful people. The restaurant right next door was amazing, we ate there are 3 nights & got drinks there during the day. Incredible service & the food was to die for but not too expensive. We felt very safe there as well. This really was the best airbnb I have ever stayed at, I will be coming back. Do yourself a favor BOOK IT!

We had a great time at Selva Mariposa. It feels very secluded, like you're in the heart of the jungle.We walking into town for dinner and had tacos at a hole-in-the-wall right by the road. Best meal we had over our entire trip. Alberto was very responsive and helpful. His breakfast was delicious! The hot tub was not working when we were there unfortunately. Wifi was spotty but workable.

I rented one of the Tulum Treehouses for our 5 year wedding anniversary, as it was the year of wood. The treehouses are nestled away in the jungle, away from all the hustle and bustle. As you’re driving in, you’re wondering where you’ll end up, but as you get closer you begin to see the beautiful entrance to the treehouses. At night, it’s even more magical. The treehouses are eco-friendly and use solar panels for electricity. The solar panels supply you with electricity to the necessities such as light in the restroom and shower, electricity for the fans, and WiFi. There were mosquitos, but it’s the jungle so of course there would be, however the treehouses were always stocked with repellent and the staff always had foggers going in the bar area. A light breakfast was included, tasty I might add. I made dinner reservations through Luz on one occasion, although we kind of wished we would have had dinner there more often because it was so good! We can’t stop raving about the ceviche (Alan’s secret recipe). Another nice surprise was that there is a cenote escondido near by, very easy to find. Lastly, the staff was AMAZING! From Misael, to Luz, to Alan. We felt like they became a part of our family. Luz was great at providing us with suggestions of places to visit, she also went above and beyond at accommodating our special requests. We have found our little place in heaven.

A real jungle experience, the private cabins, the wonderful nature and the great and unexpected food. The team Jessica, Cello and the great host Anna were amazing and gave us a great time. We totally recommend coming to this place as a couple who want some quality time and a different experience.
