“Jeanine is a great host. She is very kind, very helpful, very warm, very pleasant and attentive. She picked us up from the ferry and also dropped us off the day of our departure. She gave us a cell phone to reach her in case we have a problem. Its accommodation is close to all amenities, close to the French Embassy. The bus is close and drops you off in front of the house. The accommodation is well equipped and clean. There's air conditioning, tv, wifi and everything you need to cook. Jeanine reserved a surprise for us in the fridge, we had local beer and fresh water. On the banana table for cookies, tea and coffee, Sugar. She receives you very very well. I highly recommend it. Come and visit her, you will not be disappointed. thank you jeanine for the comfortable stay. I'll be back.”

“Derick's space is quite big, and we'll equipped. It's a little further from the city, there are buses, but you have to walk uphill for about 10 minutes. I would recommend his place if you rent a car! Derick was really helpful, always answered our questions in a few minutes, he even picked us when we arrived. We have enjoyed our time!”

Big, beautiful, and surrounded by flowering plants & tropical fruit trees in one acre of lush hillside (a hot spot for bird watching!) Only 1 mile from the nearest beach, you’re unlikely to find a villa with more spectacular views. Our comfortable home sleeps six in comfort but is just as cosy for two. “Dear Dylyn, dear Chris, thank you for the wonderful 2 weeks at your villa. We found everything as you described on the airbnb homepage. Your frangipani newsletter is lovely and very detailed and extremly helpful for first time visitors to beautiful Saint Lucia. Everyday we woke up to greet the panoramic view over the bay of Castries. Every evening we said good bye to the daylight waning into another AWESOME sunset, the stars rising over us. Your home was our castle on the top of the world. Everyday we enjoyed the spectacular view from the big veranda watching the 1,2,3 gigantic cruise ships entering the harbor of Castries, bringing thousands of excited day tourists to explore the island. We wonder how this tiny island never tires to deal with new guests on a daily basis, the minibuses delivering the cruise travelers to their ship, just in time for leaving. From our veranda the outgoing ships with their sparkling lights looked like a string of diamonds disappearing in the dark horizon leaving us with the sounds of the night. During the day you can either enjoy a sunny place or a shady place under the roof of the veranda. In the house you have much space and the well ventilated rooms stay amazingly cool even without an airconditioning. The big kitchen gives you all cooking options you may need (or you enjoy the nice food prepard by Julie, the neighbour, as Dylyn suggested). If you want excellent local food, she makes and serves it, better than any restaurant we visited. Well worth it, dont miss it. We hardly needed any extra clothes, as the washing mashine was good to have and works splendidly. If we had any questions the housekeeper Kisha and Julie were always very helpful and Kisha took good care of us, saying regularly "hello" and asking, whether we needed anything. Her answer always was: "no problem!" Additionally it was very nice when Dylyn and Chris also came to spend their holidays in their lower appartment. They are so much fun, know their island very well, the history, what to see and where to shop, showed us some of their favorite spots around Castries including the Friday night happening in Gros Islet. Karen got some wonderful new dresses made by Dylyns favorite seamstres Dawn. You can reach the villa by minibus from the center of Castries and the Mini-Market around the corner proofed very helpful, but we recommend to rent a car to get around the island. We thank Dylyn, Chris, Kisha and Julie very much for their hospitality and the gorgeous days on St Lucia, Thomas and Karen”
