Fabulous over the water Cabin Mango beach Marigot.

NinaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The boathouse is located in a bay. To get to the beach you go through a locked gate and walk along the mangroves. It’s a short walk. At the beach there are many locals offering loungers for a price. The boat house is secluded and you need to ferry to get back and forth. You need to walk to the beach and ring the bell for them to come —unless they’re there. They run until dark and then you need to text or call other people . We used Kevin for JJs and didn’t go to Doolittle’s. Wed at JJs is crab night -and karaoke! Kitchen is basic but just what we needed. We like to cook for ourselves . Stop at a market on the way. We rented a car and highly recommend that. Renting a driver is expensive . Mosquitos Weren’t too bad but kept me up . The net above the bed was tiny and didn’t cover much other than two heads. There is coffee tea salt pepper and sugar. The pool is up some stairs and that’s the only place we could get Wi-Fi consistently. The water is not clear enough for decent snorkeling

Chrissy's Villa - Luxury 1 bedroom Penthouse

JohnathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I came here for the 3rd leg of my 15 day vacation to unwind. While here i found out my mother was killed back home (TMI), I get it. I say this to say my stay at this beautiful home really brought me so much peace and allowed me to get through the hardest time i’ve experienced in 37 years. I rented a car during my stay 4x4 which i never engaged. It’s smart to have a car as the property is very secure and has parking. Winery is right behind property (OMG). POOL overlooks the ocean, outdoor sitting areas all around property. I won’t look for another place when i return. Thank you so much for having me and i will 100% return!

Orchid Cottage - 1 bed cottage with private pool

CassandraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
my fiancé and I took our first trip together and decided to stay here based on reviews and location. it was incredible, Sherma took care of the cottage, made us wonderful goat curry and provided recommendations for beaches and local foods to try. Brian was also amazing and ensured my fiancé was greeted upon his arrival, as well as provided transportation and ensured we were well taken care of when visiting local areas. We stayed for two weeks and we were able to get a perfect balance of relaxation and a few local excursions to nearby beaches and stores. Brian also helped arrange transportation when we decided to travel to the south part of the island which made things so much easier. it was also the perfect amount of independence, and Sherma and Brian took care of cleaning and cottage upkeep which was wonderful. the view was amazing and the pool was great too. if you're thinking about staying here we recommend and we will be back for another trip. thank you so much for having us.

Wild Serenity Villa

JanarioRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My stay at Lacy’s place was great. Before our trip she was really great at reaching out to ensure I had everything I needed and answered any questions. It did take us a while to find the villa but Liza the property manager sent someone to meet us on the main road to lead us into the villa area. We got in later than expected but Liza stayed until we did and was very gracious about it. The villa was gorgeous especially the shared spaces. Unfortunately they weren’t any fruits in season so we were unable to get however we got a dinner catered for us by Liza and her mum and it was great. Any questions I had Liza answered promptly and ensured our stay was great. I loved that the pictures accurately represented the villa and the cottage was even bigger than expected. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re traveling in large groups.

An ba Campeche la

LawrenceRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The place is beautiful, it is very large and completely fitted with a great kitchen, bathroom and living quarters. Archie, the caretaker is the sweetest guy. However, mostly he doesn’t respond to his cell phone. The owner, Leslie lives in Minnesota and was very slow to respond to questions. The place otherwise is beautiful with a great view of the ocean. There’s a short walk down to the ocean itself with a fantastic isolated beach where I went swimming. They have 2 of the sweetest dogs. However, the dogs are never walked, they’re kept on 4 foot chains by a dog house with just a small cement platform where they’re fed, where they pee & poop and live their entire lives without moving. I asked Archie to walk the dogs, but he seemed reluctant. They’re also 2 sweet cats. I fed the dogs cooked hamburger and sausage and the cats sliced salami or bologna every day. They LOVED me.

Cosmo's place is in a great location that offers up the best of both options for requiring some down time as well as looking for things to do. He was great from start to finish. Made sure we had transportation sorted out when we got off the flight, help get us with amenities for the place, gave us tour of the area to familiarize ourselves, offered up suggestions of things to do and places to eat. You can clearly tell he takes pride in his place and his town! Can not recommend this place enough and we will be back!

Home Away From Home Guesthouse

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow, absolutely a 5-star host! Monique’s house is nicely tucked away in town just down the road from the beach and my dive shop (Action Adventure Divers). You can actually watch TV here without messing with all the providers. Had a hot shower, great AC in the bedroom and a comfortable bed with access to the resorts and some hiking trails. Monique is proactive and will help with anything you might need … she even met me in Rodney Bay for some dinner, conversation and showed me around! A big thanks to this wonderful St Lucian!!!!

JurielyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Overall great house!! Quiet neighbor. I shared the space with my boyfriend and we even extended our stay. The host kept great communication answering all of our questions. When we arrived everything was clean and in order, the pool area as well. Great views around this whole property. A coffee marker, water kettle, microwave and washer were available to use. (coffee, tea, clothes detergent, body wash, shampoo+ conditioner not included) Some outlets have usb ports to help you charge your devices. Theres a lot of light switches that operate appliances, water, and lights. I wish they had been labeled so I won’t be guessing which one is what. There was two bath towels in each of the rooms some of the them had an old smell so I had to put them to wash. There is a dry table provided for use as well. I would stay here again just on the lower level because it has direct access to the pool. I wish i knew before booking that if we wanted to go to the pool we had to go through the street side e

Exclusive Modern house with amazing views

GeneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The location is spectacular with views of the Caribbean on both sides of the bluff. We spent much of the visit enjoying the sea breezes on the bay by the pool. The unit was comfortable, clean, spacious and had all the expected amenities. Natalie and Cyrus, the local representatives provided great welcomes, recommendations and advice. The location is up the hill from the restaurants, but posed no problem as we had a vehicle. Highly recommended.

Comfort Suites - Two Bedroom Apartment

TrevorRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE!!! Wow, I had the best time ever staying here. I didn't know what to expect traveling by myself but I was quickly made to feel at home by Caron with his warm smile and infectious laugh. Caron is an amazing chef and I found it very difficult not to enjoy his meals every day. In fact, I didn't -- I ate every meal there! The Mahi Mahi is particularly to die for, and I don't normally eat fish. He also had suggestions for making the meals even better. I had the two bedroom apartment on the first floor. It was very quiet and secluded feeling. Extra perk was the view of the Piton Mountain behind us! The private pool is a great addition to the property. You are very close to three stores for any food/drink supplies you might need. Caron was so incredibly hospitable and accommodating. I absolutely didn't want to leave and when I come back to St. Lucia, I'll definitely be looking forward to staying here again!!! Oh, the only negative I would say is the parking isn't paved.

Brigand Hill: Full staff included

AndreaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Amazing vacation! We all left feeling relaxed, pampered and well taken care of. The house is in a beautiful location and the house setup is very nice for multiple families. Felt like our own personal resort in the rainforest. It is described as it was, no air conditioning and a bit of a rustic feel, with the beauty of the home lying in the location. Not surrounded by anything but the beautiful rainforest. Being from a dry climate, we adjusted to the heat pretty quickly and having the pool was a nice way to cool down. The beauty of the trip to me was not having all of the amenities that we "need" in America, and the house as it was was a large part of what made our trip relaxing and slowed down our normal pace. The staff was more than accommodating to our group and whatever we needed was always at our fingertips. Thank you George, Bertilla and Catherine for making our stay so very special. They were always there when we needed them and took such wonderful care of us!!

House Casa Lulu - 10 mins away from airport(UVF)

JohannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I booked Arlette’s place on behalf of my mother who was attending a funeral on the island. Arlette was so kind from the start and very helpful with everything. I am so grateful for your hospitality and kindness towards my mom. I have also included her review below. “This beautiful home is situated ten minutes from the Airport, and following the directions from the host Arlette, it’s not hard to miss. On arrival I was met by a gentleman, Chris who was most gracious, he showed us around the property, which was most breathtaking. The home is spacious, clean with all the amenities you would need for your stay. This beautiful house is truly a home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay and would most definitely come back for another stay. Arlette was very gracious in helping me settle in, she is really the ultimate host, FIVE STARS!!!!!! Thanks Arlette for making my stay very comfortable!! Jennifer” On behalf of our family, thank you Arlette and team!

Convenient 3Bdrm Home | 2 min walk to Reduit Beach

HankRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our first time in St. Lucia did not disappoint. a big part of what made our trip so wonderful was Cheryl's home. It is just far enough out of the activity to be peaceful and private, a great place to escape and relax and get ready for the next adventure. Well stocked kitchen, brand new gas grill, great air conditioning all huge pluses. Everything worked well. We loved sitting on the roof deck to watch the stars and plan the next day. Fantastic location allowed us to walk to the beach and restaurants when we didn't want to drive. But also has covered parking too. We felt right at home and had tons of space, it is a great value and has a great bathroom for the primary. The host was very responsive throughout the entire process and helped us with tours and other recommendations as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Sweet Breezes St Lucia

LaToryaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Sweet Breezes was an amazing choice for our visit to Saint Lucia. I feel like it’s a hidden gem that boasts amazing views of the ocean and the pitons. I would definitely recommend this villa and I would definitely stay here again. We ate often at Tet Rouge which is a stone’s throw from the property. Garvin and the staff at Tet Rouge treated us as if we were family. He coordinated outings and transportation for us daily. As the name of the property is Sweet Breezes, that’s exactly what you feel from the ocean. Do not let the fact that this home has no air conditioning deter you from booking. I am originally from South Alabama and have lived in Texas so I know what HOT is and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the house was without it. You can’t beat the views from this property. We loved going up to the rooftop to soak in the sun and views. I also enjoyed sitting on the 2nd floor balcony to watch all the butterflies play in the flowers. I can’t wait to go back!!

Residence Du Cap Panoramic Views

RickRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Having stayed at many rental properties over the last 30 years, this was perhaps one of the very best. The view from the villa was the best on the entire island. It was hard to leave each day for activities since you wouldn't find a better location for a swim, lunch, etc. Michael, the host, was so responsive from the minute we first looked at the property.. He even drove to get us pizza on the night of our arrival after seeing we were tired! He gave great recommendations and was a ready resource. The house had everything you could ask for, with both great indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool was perfect size and temperature. Michael is continuing to make enhancements to Residence du Cap, and I am sure the stays there will be even better. While St. Lucian roads are an adventure at times, we quickly adapted and were able to enjoy the many things the Island has to offer. The restaurants in Rodney Bay and Cap Estate are fantastic. All in all, an amazing holiday!

Spacious Villa! Pool, Ocean Views, 6 Mins to beach

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was my second time staying at Phil and Michelle’s home (with a different group of friends this time) + we couldn’t have been happier (last year was also a huge win!) The home is beautiful, Michelle goes above and beyond, always responsive, local recommendations, lunch menus, boat tours, etc — the entire welcome guide is jam packed. We can’t wait to book in 2025 and you won’t be disappointed booking here! We travel a lot and this home is easily in the top 1% of Airbnb properties. Clean, every detail is thought out, stocked pantry, readily available (if needed) and so much more. St. Lucia is a beautiful island and Ridgemont is NO exception. The views, pool, bedroom views, neighbourhood, local connections — all top notch. Michelle and Phil thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with the Airbnb community. Until next time!

Cozy Cottage

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The Cozy Cottage was a great little spot for those on foot - easy to access everything in town. Alwin was very helpful and responsive with suggestions and directions. Photos are accurate and the cottage has all of the essentials. They don't advertise it, but they have both local and North American plugs installed, and have a drying rack for clothes. The only note would be that the AC unit located on the bedroom is really only for the bedroom - den area does not cool down even with the door open, so you need to be comfortable sharing a bed. Everything else was perfect - exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for the wonderful stay (and art) Alwin :)

Chalet La Mar -- the main house

Louanne & KeithRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Million dollar view with a ton of privacy and very peaceful, close to the airport ! Evelyne can arrange pickup or rental car delivered to you. (Tedley) From the moment we walked down the stairs onto the huge front deck overlooking the ocean, the WOW factor hit us! If you want solitude to read a book and relax, this is your place! The 10 minute walk down to the secluded beach is worth it. The beach is rocky, but swimming is good with lots of big rocks to sit on and you can find small patches of sand. Bring good shoes to navigate the trail down to the beach. We wore flip flops, but it can get slippery after it rains. Evelyne is a great cook and she can be hired to make a nice meal with fresh fish that she picks up from the market.😋. The walk to the small fishing village of Laborie takes about 20 minutes. I recommend renting a car as there isnt a whole lot to do right in Laborie, but the place itself is a great find!

River Breeze Villa, 5 minutes to beach and town

ShyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at River Breeze Villa was absolutely amazing. The villa is well maintained, centrally located, and authentically caribbean. What truly made our vacation unforgettable were our phenomenal hosts, Mr. Sherman and Mrs. Kishmer. Even before our arrival, they were incredibly helpful, promptly answering all of the questions I had about the island. When Mr. Sherman picked us up from the airport, he treated us to a brief but insightful tour of the southern region of the island and went above and beyond for us by taking us to a nearby restaurant to grab dinner after our long travel day. Throughout the duration of our stay, our hosts offered invaluable advice on navigating the town. Anytime we had questions or special requests, they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. As frequent travelers, we were blown away by their warmth and hospitality. They didn't just make us feel welcomed, they truly made us feel like family. This was a phenomenal experience.

Your guide to Saint Lucia

All About Saint Lucia

Dominated by volcanic peaks, dense forests, and tropical vegetation, the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia sits at the eastern end of the Caribbean Sea, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. Turquoise waters lap the shores of the island’s white-sand beaches, and just off the coast you’ll find coral reefs where you can snorkel or dive. Though Saint Lucia’s volcanoes are technically active, the most action you’re likely to see is at the Sulphur Springs, where geothermal activity creates pools of boiling water that bubble up from the earth. While these pools are too hot to approach, there are some areas where you can take a soothing mud bath.

On the northwest tip of the island you’ll find Rodney Bay Marina, an entry port and marina with cozy restaurants and trendy bars. In contrast, the southern half of the island features candy-colored villages, small markets and stalls, and traditional Caribbean homes. All along the coastline, Saint Lucia offers adventurous marine experiences, including kayaking and windsurfing. The verdant interior rainforests contain massive waterfalls, diverse wildlife, and hiking trails for all skill levels.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Saint Lucia

The best time to visit Saint Lucia is during winter and spring, when the weather is consistently sunny and warm and there is little rain. During May, Saint Lucia hosts the Soleil Saint Lucia Summer Festival, a month-long series of events celebrating jazz, roots and soul music, and visual arts. Summer and fall are mostly sunny but bring the possibility of brief, heavy rainfall; hurricane season begins in June and lasts through November. In the second week of July, the country organizes Saint Lucia’s Carnival, where you can see music and dance performances as well as parades.

Top things to do in Saint Lucia

The Pitons

The Gros Piton (2,500 feet tall) and the Petit Piton (2,400 feet tall) are the two volcanic mountains that soar above the Caribbean Sea and are a UNESCO World Heritage site. If you’d like to take a closer look, there are trails to the summit of each of them. You can even dive at the foot of Petit Piton and see the volcanic wall from underwater.

Rainforest

Three-quarters of Saint Lucia is covered with lush rainforest, home to 1,300 plant species and hundreds of animal species, particularly birds and insects. You can trek through the rainforest with a local guide, or go ziplining through the canopy and take in the beautiful plant life from above. Aerial trams departing from Castries offer another way of getting a bird’s-eye view, taking several passengers at a time in “cars” that glide high above the forest floor.

Soufrière

This colorful fishing village is about an hour’s drive south from the capital city of Castries and is the perfect base for seeing many of the island’s attractions. Here you’ll find hiking trailheads for the Pitons, as well as the Sulphur Springs and the Diamond Falls and Botanical Gardens. When you’re finished sightseeing for the day, relax on the palm-lined Anse Mamin Beach. There is a small town square with historic buildings where you can learn about the village’s history, as well as some shops and restaurants.
