Lovely apartment in Southwold, even better than the photos! Peaceful, clean, cosy and exactly what we needed. Very easy to find and park - we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and recommend to our friends & family!

Our second stay at the Old School Rooms. We were impressed the first time (April 2025) and just so on this visit (May 2025). It so comfortable you immediately feel at home. Everything available that you may need. Judith an excellent host, always responds promptly and very helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending.

The views from the apartments are just phenomenal at any time of day you can watch the world go by, see the sunrise and the sunset with a glass of wine in your own comfortable and private space. The location is set right on the promenade with your own parking space supplied by the booking and from there, you can walk everywhere in Cromer to all the facilities including pubs, restaurants, the pier, cafés, bars etc. Park the car and leave it there for your whole stay, Cromer has really good bus and train links up and down the coast. Excellent walking from the apartment across the coast paths: turn left and walk for about an hour for Craigie Bottoms restaurant (excelkent seafood) or turn right on the coast path and do a long circular walk towards Gunton (3-4hours) where there is spectacular countryside, easy walking and some fabulous country pubs. This apartment is of an excellent quality, perfectly located and the host is very friendly, would highly recommend for a quality stay.

We loved staying here. We already know Cromer so to stay right “in it” was really fantastic. To see the sea from the lounge window and step out to the sea front, arcades, crazy golf and shops was great! Ali had left notes about recommendations, which was useful and we followed most of them… We enjoyed finding the Rocket cafe, having a coffee from the balcony and watching the crabbing boats coming in. And trying out the different ice cream places. And of course visiting the fish and chip shops we already knew. The flat is lovely with a big bright sunny living area and the bedrooms at the back. Having a bathroom and separate toilet worked well. Thanks so much. We intend to come back again!

great host, lovely apartment, very clean and homely. 5 min from beach, pubs, amusements and shops. overall a great place to stay. Will definitely recommend and hopefully stay again if we go to Sheringham again. Thanks Paul

Really lovely listing in Cromer, perfect location right by the sea! Kate was a super helpful and responsive host. The space was spotless and the bedroom in particular was lovely ! Kate did advertise that the bathroom had no shower, so we were aware of that going into the space. However, it’s a bit tricky if what you want is a quick and easy shower. Only snag is to be mindful of the short bathroom / bedroom entrances - my partner (6 foot) kept bumping his head going between the bedroom and bathroom, especially at night.

Nice place to stay whilst working in the area. Short walk to the beach and town. All the amenities needed for a short stay.

Matt’s place in Mundesley is amazing! It’s a lovely flat in a peaceful block close to everything you could need & wonderful view of the sea from the balcony. Access to the beach is just over the road & there are multiple options for food & drink. The flat was immaculate & Matt was very responsive & helpful in his communications. We all loved our time here (from the children to the grandparents) & would thoroughly recommend booking!

Me my husband and our dog ted stayed at lees place for 4 nights. we had a wonderful time the house is a beautiful space within walking distance to local shops restaurants bars and most of all the beach. Our stay was very nice quiet and exactly what we needed. Lee also left us some wine and snacks which was a lovely little welcome treat. If your looking for a beautiful house within close proximity to the beach then I'd highly recommend lees house. We enjoyed using the juke box and the array of board games in the house. It was just a wonderful weekend to reset and relax and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Lee 😊 🙏

We had a great family stay - 4 adults and 2 teens. Plenty of room for us all and the host was really responsive. Lovely welcome gift too and the hot tub was lovely to relax in. Very close to beach and Lidl is only a short walk away. Just be aware the lane to access the parking is pretty tight so take it carefully coming in and out. Thank you for a lovely stay

The Mizzen is peaceful, very spacious and extremely well located to enjoy all the many treats Southwold has in store.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Scratby! Communication with the host was friendly and prompt from the start, which made everything easy and stress-free. The location was perfect, peaceful and close to everything we needed. This is only superseded by the stunning views. The garden is beautifully designed and plenty of seating to capture the sun all day. The house itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and well-equipped with everything we could have possibly needed, the welcome hamper on arrival was such a lovely touch! All the bedrooms were a good size with comfy beds, making it ideal for our group of 7 adults and 1 dog. We loved the garden bar and dartboard too! It truly was the perfect break, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended

Warm and Friendly , was perfect and ideal for our few nights stay for me and my friends to attend the local wedding venue at the Barn. Comfy beds with lovely surroundings and beach. Hosts were experienced and most helpful even aiding me with a quick lift to the venue so really thankful and enjoyed the stay. Would do again if back that way

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

Lovely stay! The place is so spacious and bigger than it looks, with a great secure garden for the dog! it's only a minute walk from a gorgeous beach and in between 2 pubs. Lovely for a relaxing beach getaway. Thank you for the lovely special touches too! Hope to book again soon!

This was our second stay at this wonderful property. The location is amazing and the area is so peaceful. The garden is an absolute sun trap. The property was so clean, the beds are really comfortable, lots of little extras that make it a complete home from home. We are already discussing our next visit, this will be a regular rental for our family, we love it.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The highchair and travel cot was very useful as we were staying with our toddler. The location was great, very close to the town & parking was an added bonus.

We enjoyed 3 nights at the tutor apartment. This property has beautiful old windows and high ceilings. The apartment is much more spacious than expected from the pictures and nicely presented. It has a lovely breakfast table near the windows in the kitchen and a court yard off the bedroom with seating. We had everything we needed, the washer was helpful and the large bath, with a boy covered in sand. The beach was about 10 to 15 minutes away depending on which route you took. We enjoyed lovely meals and drinks near the apartment. There is a park across the road with sea views and a lovely cafe. The beds were comfy and the seating in the lounge area. You could hear the birds singing with the door open. We travelled on the train to explore other areas. The apartment has everything you need and the hosts were just right and helpful were needed. Emma was a wonderful host. The house was so warm and welcoming and the welcome treats and personal note Emma left us was a thoughtful touch. The place was at an ideal location - a minutes walk to the coastal path and beach. Shops are just around the corner too. Would certainly go back again!

this is a great little find in an ideal location, near to beach, shop, pub/restaurant, tea room and fish and chip shop. the accomodation was spotless and had loads of little extras like welcome pack, sauces, tea coffee salt pepper, jams butter, toiletries etc. it also had a small private back garden with multiple seating areas , we would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next visit Thankyou 😁

Fabulously stylish apartment, brilliant central Location. Superbly appointed: comprehensive kitchen utensils, really comfy beds and sofas. And when we asked for the bedding to be swapped out (our fault entirely, we forgot to Mention a feather allergy) the hosts came over within half an hour to make the change. I wholeheartedly and highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Our stay was wonderful, very comfortable and homely. Everything catered for and a lovely surprise of a welcome basket for us humans and a treat and toy for our doggie!
