Had a lovely stay a great host very responsive, clean and tidy cottage , exactly what we expected and had hoped for , for a quiet and cosy weekend break. Couldn’t ask for more.

The family had a lovely break here, a short drive from Norwich Showground where we attended an event but far enough away for peace and quiet… lovely walks… excellent pub Kings Arms local for dinner. Everything needed was in the lodge including a very appreciated ‘welcome pack’ to start us off on arrival. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing little cottage set on a working farm. The views across the fields were absolutely stunning—truly a breath of fresh air. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect. Mary and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a later checkout, which was such a kind gesture (though we sadly had to decline as we were eager to get home to see our son). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a peaceful day. And the complimentary bottle of wine, A lovely touch—it went down very well! The nearby village of East Harling is just a 30-minute walk away and has everything you need for a quiet retreat—whether it’s grabbing some basic groceries or enjoying a drink at one of the friendly local pubs. It’s great not having to rely on the car at all. We would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

Really enjoyable weekend, excellent location for exploring the coast and Norwich. Fabulous accommodation with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sofas. Excellent hot tub, well maintained and a very handy private garden for the dogs and adults. Garden furniture good for when the sun shines. The welcome pack with local produce was a nice touch and appreciated. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely weekend at Bengate Barn. We enjoyed the hot tub and the stargazing (and the gym). Good location to access whole Norfolk area. Everything required for a family stay is provided and we hope to come back. Thank you Clare for hosting us.

We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described 👌. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest 👌 A1.

Stayed for 1 night with a group of friends. Was easy to find and parking was available right outside the property. We found the space clean and tidy and had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. Hot tub was ready to use and clean, lovely addition. Overall happy with our 1 night stay. Would recommend

What a wonderful house perfectly set out. Modern clean and very relaxing would definitely recommend and would t think twice about going back.

Great place to get away, meet with family and relax. Very dog friendly, which is a massive plus for us. Clean & tidy. Private. Bumped into Chloe just as we were leaving and she was friendly and chatty. I have no doubt if we'd have needed her for anything (which we didn't) she would have sorted it.

Charming little character cottage in a peaceful and friendly village. The cottage was cosy, welcoming and provided everything we needed. The Village shop is really well stocked so you didn't need to venture far! Nice public footpaths close to the cottage, ideal for a stay with the pooch!

The cottage was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and well equipped. I think it was even better than the photos! Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The garden was lovely to sit in and secure for my dog. Nick advised us on the quieter dog walks and we had some lovely walks in the countryside and along the river, with some stunning views. I found that all the dog walkers I met were very considerate and put their dogs on leads even before they realised that mine was reactive. This made the walks much more relaxed than usual. Whilst I didn’t use my car all weekend, as it was just me and my dog, along with the walks there are many things to see and do in this area. I would love to come back with my husband and explore it further. I would definitely recommend the cottage.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at such a beautiful quirky place and beautiful grounds and surroundings, just idilic. Great amenities. Very well equipped . Fantastic location for Southwold, Bawdsey and Rendlesham Forest . The hosts are very quick to respond to any questions . Thank you . My mother inlaw had the best time for her 80th .

Absolutely stunning! Ten out of Ten for this beautiful hideaway! It's a gem of a cottage in a gorgeous location! Located on a private lane this clean warm cosy cottage nestles beside other quaint old cottages whose lovely front gardens have the prettiest scented flowers. This lane and its hideaway cottages would deserve the title of 'Historic Conservation Area' because this is the historic 'quarter' of Caistor, and it is beautiful. Spoiling the lane by parking here would be a sin seeing as there are many other nearby spots to park. This adorable spotlessly clean & spacious cottage is extremely well equipped. The beds were fantastically comfortable. We loved the Honey hand soap and flowery infuser. Fast WIFI. Brand new boiler. Piping hot water. And a centuries old beam in the living room to admire and covet. Bridget, whose love and knowledge of this area shines through, revealed that long ago this cottage was part of a farm. We slept like babes in the cottage's peaceful atmosphere!

Kerry’s place is a must stay. It was perfect for our family of 4, with two small kids. Lovely little outside space & there was a good amount of storage inside the cottage so we could unpack & feel at home. There was a kitchen with all the utensils & equipment you need. There are some beautiful little personal touches too that make it almost feel like a hotel, but with all the privacy of your own home. The area is so peaceful & a central location for lots of places to visit. Adam & Kerry were very responsive & helpful, the communication was really great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage & Suffolk to friends & family.

We had such a wonderful stay at Albert’s Cottage. It’s in a perfect place to visit places easily and is easy to get to and park up. Imogen was helpful and recommended some great places to visit. The cottage was equipped with everything you need for a great break. Would love to come back sometime soon.

We've just returned from a night in The Potting Shed. A very relaxing, peaceful location. The accommodation is lovely, modern with a great shower, very comfortable bed and everything you need. Annette is very friendly and helpful. We had a delicious meal a short drive away at The King's Head. The perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you.

A fantastic place to stay with beautiful gardens. The garden room was fantastic and the house itself is really quirky and tastefully decorated. The house is really well equipped and I’m a lovely setting. We loved our stay!

The cottage such a beautiful place to stay. Really peaceful and surrounded by countryside for walking. Lovely little villages nearby. A really well equipped cottage with everything needed. Lots of character and I loved my stay here. Mary & John were really responsive to messages, helpful and friendly. I recommend it! x

Lovely Airbnb in a great location. The pub opposites is fab and we enjoyed a lovely meal there and felt quite smug walking back on 2 seconds! The cottage is beautifully furnished. My 2 year old loved the ornamental tricycle! The snug was big enough for a small inflatable bed for our son so acted as an extra bedroom. The bedroom blinds aren’t great so bring your own blackout if you use them, but totally satisfactory. The kitchen was well equipped. The parking space outside the cottage is great and very handy. We had great days out at BeWILDerwood, Great Yarmouth, and a boat trip exploring the Norfolk broads. Lots to see and do in the area. Had a great stay.

We absolutely loved this secluded cottage. It couldn't have been more comfortable, with a large comfy bed, and functional hot shower in the ensuite bathroom in the bath. The living area was big enough to feel spacious, but not too big, and the sofa and chairs were cosy, with a log burner for cold evenings, though we only needed it once as the cottage was warm. It was surrounded by trees and wild flowers, and there were deer and hares in the surrounding fields. Despite being in such a beautiful location, silent and pitch black at night, it was still only a 15 minute drive to Woodbridge in one direction and Orford in the other, so easy to find things to do.

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.

Mathar was a fantastic host, this was an absolute bargain for how great it was, perfectly placed location to access different activities and was a clean and perfect place for our holiday.

What a beautiful cottage in a blissful location. Stunning private walled garden and tastefully styled interiors. Having stayed in a number of air bnbs the bed was the better have slept in. We felt right at home and having the lambs outside was an added bonus. Super-friendly host made everything very easy. Great pub 5 mins walk away.
