Fantastic accommodation in a lovely cottage down a quiet lane. Dawn and Neil were excellent hosts, beds were very comfortable and shower was sensational. Lovely views from the windows and tasteful decoration. I’d highly recommend staying at this cottage.

A great short-stay at Lars’ bohemian escape in Buntingford. Well located along the high street, but facing away from the busy road, it was nice and peaceful. The space is decorated with interesting things, and I paged through some of the hundreds of architectural and decor books and magazines. Clean, functional- I’d definitely stay again. Lars as a host was very responsive with communication and the check in process was well explained.

Katrina’s place was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and both our dog and our child absolutely loved it—which says a lot! Katrina was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly flexible. Truly one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. The gardens are stunning—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and just perfect for relaxing. The area itself is also wonderful, with a lovely atmosphere and plenty to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay in Ashwell. Everything in Ashwell itself is within walking distance. The cottage has a very cozy vibe with games and DVD’s already there. There was milk (three kinds), coffee, and biscuits upon arrival although we didn’t use the milk. The garden has a patio and is lovely in the sun especially! If we come back to Ashwell, we would stay here again.
