Vacation rentals in Kelshall

Staying at the cottage was such a unique experience. We visited the place during autumn and it was lovely. Having said that, in the summer, this place must be truly amazing as you can enjoy the outdoors even more. We enjoyed making the fire and watching it. Kitchen is tiny but has everything what's needed and bathroom is large with nice hot water. There are great walks to take and the lake with wild birds is just beautiful. We also popped into a nearby leisure centre for a swim and visited the little, lovely town of Letchworth. We can recommend this place to explorer who are after something different, simple, beautiful, peaceful and re-charging. Thank you for the stay Nicky & Richard :)

Brilliant stay as usual. Even though we are staying for sad family circumstances , we are so comfortable here, everything is superb. I almost want to keep it a secret! Thanks Amanda.

Another fantastic stay at Retreat34. Jane is always super helpful and very flexible with arrival times. Bungalow always spotlessly clean and comfortable. The welcome pack is always gratefully received and very thoughtful. Will definitely be back again.

Absolutely delightful and cosy barn conversion in beautiful surroundings. Sarah was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful. Just the perfect stop-off point for a few quiet days in the countryside. I'll be back!

This was our second stay at Gina’s. We love it. Lovely location and the accommodation is excellent. We would definitely book it again if we are visiting relatives in the area.

Perfect place, just what we needed.

We had a wonderful weekend at Amanda's beautifully converted barn. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with two glasses of prosecco, which set the tone for a fantastic stay. Everything was so well-organized that we didn’t need to ask for anything, though Amanda was always on hand if needed and gave us many recommendations and tips beforehand, so we basically had everything we needed to know upon arrival. It was the perfect peaceful escape. We spent our time relaxing, watching Netflix and Sky, cooking, playing board games, and enjoying the pool table, which was a fantastic bonus. The interior and artwork are stunning—just like in the photos, if not better. Saffron Walden, a charming town just 10 minutes away, was lovely to explore, especially the Saturday market and quaint cafés. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at The 8 Bells. Thank you, Amanda, for an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return!
