Casita on the Hill- Sunrise Views!

PenelopeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a wonderful little home! Tiny but so cute and efficient, and surrounded by such lovely views! Our family of four did just fine in the space and cooked two simple dinners with no problem. We loved sitting outside and gazing at the view, or walking past the fantastic rock formations behind the house and down to the great Twin Rocks Cafe for lunch, or down to the Bluff Historic Fort. Some of us even went running down along the river. The hosts were wonderful, very helpful with tips, and I really appreciated their love and concern for the nature surrounding them. On our trip through the hot and dry country of Arizona, Utah and New Mexico, this was the only Airbnb we stayed in where we could hang our clothes up to dry outside. It was a wonderfully peaceful place to rest in a stunning landscape before continuing our journey.

Spectacular Monument Valley Campsite#3

PranavRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Celia was extremely kind and polite and very responsive. She was very flexible on check-in timings. What stood out for me was her willingness to make the delicious tacos at night, which were badly needed after a long day. The view is spectacular--beautiful views of Monument Valley. It was lovely waking up to the sunrise reflecting off of the buttes. I like the little shack structure with the picnic bench. It was very convenient. The only drawback was the hot shower wasn't working, though her husband tried for quite a while to fix it. Bathroom was smelly with no sink, but they had made arrangements for air fresheners and water jugs and soap. The smell came a bit in the morning at site 3 but wasn't a big deal. Overall, it was a spectacular location and view with thoughtful constructions and delicious tacos, and Celia was wonderful to communicate with. P.S.: They have adorable, friendly dogs who were by their property and came to play with me when I was around that area. 😊

Guest house with view of the stars

My partner and I really enjoyed this location. It felt as though we were in our own home, in regard to privacy. Justin did provide us with coordinates to get to his house which was extremely helpful! I would recommend this location and would stay here in the future.
