Gurunathan always responds quickly to messages. His parents Lekshman and Lekshmi are sweet and kind, and they prepared typical Indian dishes for us upon request at a cheap price. Ramar, Lekshman's brother, was our trusted choffeur and has always helped us organize our days and was very comfortable getting around with him. They made us feel special, they treated us well, and we always felt safe. The house is located near the forest and has a breathtaking view of the tea plantations. You stay cool and hear the sound of nature. It's called Green Paradise and for us it was a corner of paradise in the green nature. Perfect for getting away from the chaos of cities, for mountain trekking, and visits to Munnar's botanical gardens. It's only 10 minutes from the city of Munnar, you can get around comfortably and economically in TukTuk with Ramar. Thank you so much for welcoming us so kindly and politely. A place to come back to.

The place is amazing. Melbin is a very good host, very friendly and treats guests like family. He helped us with the itinerary and cab for the trip around Munnar. The stay was amazing, zero hassles. About the place: The road which leads to the stay from the main road is a bit narrow. But Melbin himself arrived and took us in his car to directly to the stay. The place, the architecture, the plan, the accessories and service is all great. The view, nature, surroundings is nothing less than exceptional. Thank you Melbin for making the stay memorable

We had a very pleasant and peaceful stay with our 8 month old baby. Availability of kitchen was a plus to prepare baby’s food. Quiet and serene place. A traditional house transformed into a beautiful home. And the host Sibiraj was very nice to interact and very responsive.

Our stay was incredible, the house and property are truly beautiful and better than described. The house is spacious and comfortable. I will say that my husband and I traveled around India for 3+ weeks and Deepu's home was the only one with consistent, amazing hot water in the showers. Everything is sustainable, grown from the earth, and thoughtfully crafted. Deepu, Sanita, and Shijo were amazing hosts who were very responsive, kind, caring, and invested in us enjoying our time there. They went above and beyond to ensure this. Shijo is amazing cook and a wonderful, giving person as well. Thank you so much for having us and we hope to return one day! Lots of love, Diviya and Jamie

a special place has been created here - lovely landscaped garden areas and the mudhut itself was spacious, clean and very well presented. outside there were stunning mountain views. the meals were delicious and service was friendly (note that because of the remote location there isn't really anywhere else to dine). it is a long journey from kochi but absolutley worth it, highly recommend.

The property had an amazing experience! The property was nestled amidst lush greenery and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the proximity to the Marayoor Sandalwood Tree plantations. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

The Planter''s Foyer is in a magical place, Kamballikad. It is the result of friends and families coming together under the shared vision of natural building and nature based living. The architectural touches are just divine, from the use of natural materials like stone, wood and reclaimed stuff, to antique pieces and soulful stuff dotting everything - it is quite something- a class apart from the average concrete monstrosity put together usually in Kerala. We booked for two days and stayed on location the whole time. Making walks to find sunrise and sunset spots, to being served meals three times a day by the caretaker Shijo- which had its highlights: Idiappam, the pork curry, among many things. I loved the skylight in the bathrooms, the shade for the lamps, the wooden boxes for all electrical fixtures. The last stretch to the location is a task for the unseasoned driver, the cllimb is very steep and I struggled, but we could have utilised the caretaker's offer to drive up

We had a great time at Aida Villa. Initially, we were sceptical about staying 12 km away from the city, but it was the right decision. The balcony views from Aida Villa were spectacular. We had an amazing time at this peaceful homestay. It was truly as described, surrounded by beautiful nature. We were well looked after by our caretakers Arun, Shinto and Ajith. This felt like a real added luxury. They catered to our every need, including organising a car and tour of Vagamon. Special thanks to Arun for sourcing some jackfruit for us and his mum for making a delicious jackfruit vegetable dish! Our 10-month old was gobbling it up straight from the serving bowl! The pool was inviting and refreshing, also naturally shaded by some trees which was perfect for the kids. Minor point but there was no high chair- these were surprisingly hard to come by generally during our travels in Kerala! There were also a fair few mosquitoes so would recommend good repellent, the homestay did provide a couple of plug in ones, but probably need more and some coils for outdoors as well. All in all a lovely stay and very memorable experience, thanks for hosting us.

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. They’ve thought of everything to make your stay amazing. The rooms? Way bigger and better than the photos, like, 20x better. Honestly, it’s the kind of spot you’d want to gatekeep, but it’s too good not to share. They serve buffet breakfast and dinner (so good), with a special shoutout to their Gobhi 65: it’s out of this world. The pool was incredibly clean and beautiful. But the standout feature was the hospitality, major kudos to Prakash, who was always available to arrange autos and take care of anything else we needed. If you’re on the fence, don’t overthink it. Just book it, you’ll thank me later.

Amazing Munnar Farmstead

We had a wonderful stay at Asif’s place. The staff was very friendly and took care of our comfort. The place was also clean and had everything that one would need for a pleasant stay. The view from the property is also breathtaking. Only downsides is that our driver did not get a room to sleep in even when the resort had lot of empty rooms. Also, since the place is outside the main city, it is a bit tricky to find it after dark. Would recommend the staff to place more boards to identify the place and explicitly mention the property’s name in airbnb listing.
