I had a truly wonderful experience at this property. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, tastefully designed, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set it apart, though, was the peaceful environment. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you’re looking to relax, recharge, or simply enjoy a serene setting, this property is an ideal choice. Highly recommended

Evergreen Hill in Acadia National Park

AnduinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mary Ann's place was charming and cozy while very practical. Beds and sofas were very comfortable. Our dog loved the wood shavings in the back and definitely brought in less mud on the wet days. The west side is definitely more peaceful than Bar Harbor. We enjoyed exploring the trails close to the house, especially Beech. Mary Ann was great helping track down what restaurants were open in the spring that could meet our dietary restrictions.

Cheerful 2 bedroom residential home with firepit

HowardRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We two [married (to each other !) since 1968 ] 78-ers thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable 9 -day stay in mid-September at Doug's and Gail's charming rental home in Lubec. All 9 days were sunny! We wouldn't hesitate to return. Our favorite restaurant for lunch /dinner is Fisherman's Wharf and the fish and chips at HD & Sons Seafood comes highly recommended. We had tasty lunch twice at the Breakwater Cafe downtown on Water St. You may find Monica's Chocolates a fun stop. We scored a generous, delish batch of blueberry muffins from Gail for our stay of more than a week. Thank you, Gail! The Keurig and big supply of Arabica pods was a giant winner with our habitual coffee drinker.

Abby Lane

MehulRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Aaron's place was fantastic for our party of 6 (my partner and me, our kids, her parents). The house was located perfectly on the North end of Mt. Desert Island by Hadley Point Beach (where we were lucky to catch both a meteor shower and the Northern Lights.) While the lower level had a separate entrance, the kids appreciated the additional privacy/area away from adults. The entire house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the amenities (well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, patio) were much appreciated. We'd definitely stay again when visiting Acadia.

Raccoon Cove Waterfront Hideaway

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

Main Street Suite with Waterfront Resort Access

LynneRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This lovely apartment directly overlooking the park in downtown Bar Harbor was the perfect place for our family. With grandparents, parents, two small children, and a chihuahua, we had room to spread out, sleep comfortably, walk to the beach and the park, shop, and eat wonderful food and ice cream. I would want others to know that the stairs up to the apartment are steep, a tiny bit tricky for the senior with bad knees and the toddlers with short legs. The apartment has a Smart TV, which wasn't really watchable for us. If they had cable it would have been just perfect! Overall, this place was in a dream location and afforded all of us a chance to relax and enjoy the gorgeous fall weekend in Maine.

Acadia get away.! With pool and hot tub

JanelleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

AmyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed here for six nights over the Christmas holiday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The peace and serenity we felt during our stay were absolutely surreal. The property is stunning, and it provided the perfect escape for us to relax and recharge. The neighbors, Rose and Robert, were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the hosts, Mark and Michelle, went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made this stay special. We can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing people nearby, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Family/Friends Getaway Hidden on Mt Desert Island

KevinRating, 5 stars6 months ago
"From my daughter: This is our 3rd trip to Acadia National Park, but the first time at this Air B&b. Originally it was supposed to be for 5 of us, but 3 couldn't make it, so it ended up just being my husband and I. The Air B&b is in a remote enough area that it is nice and peaceful, but still an easy 20-30 minute drive to almost anywhere on Mt. desert island. The house has so many thoughtful touches, like an area outside for a campfire, supplies for smores, basic seasoning and condiments, all the light switches labeled (so thankful for that!), etc. We did a grocery run our first day and came back to the house for almost all our meals. This was a cozy place and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Mt. Desert Island and would return here again if we come back in the future."
