Tom's Chalet on the Orlická Dam

Recreational cottage at the top of the bay on the Orlická dam near the village of Nevězice. Ideal place for fishing, hiking, mushroom picking and relaxation in the quiet nature. There is a fireplace, grill, garden furniture and canoe with paddles on the property. On the lower floor of the cottage there is a toilet, bathroom, dining room with living room and fireplace with access to the terrace with a beautiful view of the dam. In the attic there is a room and a bedroom with a balcony. In the immediate vicinity there is Orlík Castle, Zvíkov Castle and Žďákovský Bridge.

Farm in the middle of a wild garden

Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. There used to be a farm here, of which only the stables and the swallows nesting in them remain today. Around the cottage is a large natural garden, which we use partly as a utility and partly as an ornamental garden. On one side, the garden ends with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other sides it passes into an open landscape. There is a cat in the garden and in the house and a hen in the yard.

The kitchen, dining room and living room are connected; a French window leads to the garden from this space. The attic is accessed via the miller's stairs. In the attic, there are 2 bedrooms with 2 and 4 beds. The village is located on the river Lužnica (possibility of fishing), and there are the ruins of a castle and a Gothic church, near the town of Bechyně.

Cottage at the river Lužnice

At the cottage there is a beautiful peace connected to nature. There is a beautiful view of the river from the terrace. You can spice up your pleasant moments with a barbecue. The surroundings encourage you to take a walk in the forest, pick mushrooms or visit a monument I can arrange fishing permits for fishermen. For children, there is a sandpit, a swing, toys and a large space for running. Easy heating system.

The Blatnice Pond by Kozak Pond is a great place for anyone who needs to recharge in the middle of nature. In the woods, read a book you don't have time for a while, sip coffee on the porch without having to watch a watch, and unwind your regular yoga class to make changes to the pond's banks. Or swap the cottage with your home office and get into the things you can't focus on in the city.

Our chats

Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.
