Vacation rentals with lake access in Intracoastal Waterway

We had a great time at Gabriel’s spot. We loved how Clean the home was and beds were comfy. The kitchen was awesome and he had some coffee and other things to get you by. We loved the proximity to the historic downtown it was a nice stroll over the bridge and back. My fur babies enjoyed their stay as well. Next time we visit we will definitely book again if available.

This place was just as advertised, affordable, and a great place to stay for a nice getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, great home, great hosts!

This was a trip for me and my sister and our spouses to visit our retired Navy vet uncle but when we seen this place we decided our uncle needed to come to us😃. The house was beautiful and the dock at the river was a plus because I was able to go fishing a little bit. We really enjoyed and we are already making plans to come back to this exact spot. House was just as beautiful as in the pictures. Plenty of space for all of us in our group. Outdoor shower was great to use after a day at the beach, before we got in the pool. Short walk to the beach from the house. Very quiet neighborhood. The extra fridge in the garage was a welcomed bonus. We had a great time and would definingly recommend to everyone. We also had no problem getting Ubers to downtown on Friday and Saturday evenings.

This was a great spot for our rather large group to gather and enjoy a couple days at the beach. Even though there are many other residences close by and within view, the back canal/dock area was quite lovely and comfortable, and the location was great for accessing (even walking to) the beach. There is also a great restaurant (The Back Forty) within an easy walk. The house is nicely set up for easy and comfortable social gathering while offering individuals private space to retreat for privacy and sleeping. Would definitely recommend this to others looking for a nice beach vacation with a medium to large size group.

It was a very beautiful home. Lots of different things to do around the area as well, and the canal was very good fishing.

Ryan’s place on the river was absolutely beautiful! The views were peaceful and relaxing, and the space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect getaway spot. We’d definitely love to come back!

Place was exactly as it looked in photos. In a small residential area, felt very safe. Easy access to downtown. Would suggest stopping at dollar store right down the road and purchasing paper towels/kleenex tissues- and shampoos/soaps.

A wonderful place to stay! I highly recommend choosing this Airbnb. Brandon checks in with you through Airbnb to welcome you and make sure you have everything you need. I plan to go back if this place is not already booked! Have a wonderful stay! I really appreciated being able to check-in after 1 PM on my day of arrival. You will love the neighborhood that is very walkable with beautiful lakes along your way.

We loved this place, and it was perfect for our needs. We needed a casual jump-off point for town, which was 10-15 minutes away from the property. the neighborhood was pretty also. The house was quiet. I would caution anyone who is unsteady with stairs (such as with a medical issue that affects mobility) as the staircase is tall and feels long. Our favorite thing was the book of recommendations from the host for food, coffee and things to see.

Location is great, hosts were super responsive and helpful. Very close to airport and I-95. Apartment is very clean and plenty of towels for guests.

A private and peaceful retreat with a dock perfect for fishing. Fully equipped for a relaxed getaway, offering everything needed for a stress-free stay. The owner even surprised us with fresh eggs from their own hens—a lovely touch!

Exactly as described - don't come here if you want a hotel like atmosphere (which we did not). Perfect for a private family getaway away from it all. Quiet, tucked away, but close enough to anything you might want or need if you don't mind a short drive. Our family would definitely stay here again 🙂

What a delightful find in Jacksonville! The house was lovely and the extra measures for comfort were so appreciated: blanket for the sofa, variety of teas, lots of towels Good workspace and great view while working! Sitting by the water in the evening was so relaxng and peaceful.

Lovely place. Everything was nice even the pots and pans, toilet paper and paper towels. Not your usual AirBnB. Beds were excellent and the furniture inside and out was nice and comfortable. Easy 20 min walk to St. George St. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We had a great stay!

Charlene was an excellent host with very quick response times! Check in was a breeze. The home itself was very clean, organized and so roomy! We had a group of 7 and could have comfortably fit many more. We all felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was breathtaking and we enjoyed cups of coffee on the huge porch every morning while looking out at the view. The location is quiet and peaceful. Only 20-30 mins from local restaurants and stores. Will certainly stay here again as this place has so much to offer for an affordable price. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway!

We live in an RV fulltime and my husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a more accommodating place to recover for a couple of weeks that was located in close proximity of our residence in order for us to check up on our other pets and maintain our garden while we were away. This was perfect! The Klare Kottage was private, peaceful,clean and locatex in a nice neighborhood. It had a beautiful view of the lake that my husband could see right out the front windows while he recovered and provided fishing,kayaking or sunset/sunrise views for me to enjoy and keep entertained while he rested. Having a place to stay that our dog was able to be with us and was more safely accessible than our current residence was a HUGE relief and made an already stressful event more bearable and accelerated his post operative recovery progress exponentially. We will definately return if temporary accommodations are needed in the future while we are at base camp versus seasonal traveling. Many thanks!
