Monthly Rentals in Hrisey

Bjorgvin’s house was perfect for our 3 nights here in the quaint little town of Hrísey. The views on this island alone were incredible, especially the view from his house. During our stay, we had a front row seat to the northern lights every night. Since we came in the winter season (Feb 2025) the heating in the house worked perfectly and was greatly appreciated, as well as the hot tub! FYI for those coming in the winter, the restaurants on the island (Brekka specifically) are closed for the season. Bjorgvin and Tinna were wonderful hosts too - Bjorgvin messaged us detailed instructions before our arrival, and made sure to check in with us via the Airbnb app during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much Bjorgvin & Tinna! We’d love to come back for the summer season!

This place was beyond amazing! The pictures do no justice! I wish I would have stayed here the for the entirety of our trip. We even got to meet the owner Remy on our way out and he was so kind. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very cosy and quite house . If you want to escape the city , it’s amazing place to stay and relax .
