Vacation rentals with beach access in Horta

The stay went very well, Andreia's house is small but equipped with all the comforts, great for two people. It is close to the bus stop and Sao Roque, but to visit the island I think a car is essential. We'd love to come back.

Great place for a family!

This apartment is so roomy and comfortable! Three couples can easily stay here and have an easy stay. The eat-in kitchen is large and very-well appointed. Enormous windows overlook the town, bay and Pico; they also have lightblocking shades when the sun gets too hot. The walk to town center is close but it is up a hill (that gives you the view!). Maria Teresa is a wonderful host and was very responsive with a last-minute request. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

We loved this place - super clean and great location as its walkable to a sand beach and into the town of Horta and 10 min drive to airport! Rosa and Alexandra were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a short stay but everything was great! The views were beautiful on the top floor (there were stairs), and there was a nice outdoor patio. We had enough towels and all the amenities we needed (full sized fridge and freezer which was nice). The parking was easy and spacious. Great location, I recommend!

We spent five wonderful days at Casa da Esquila, Very well located accommodation, a 5-minute walk to the sea. Its central location on the Island makes it easy for those wishing to visit the different points of Pico. The house is very well equipped and decorated, just like the photos, and provided a very comfortable stay. Communication with Regina was very easy and fast. We traveled with a baby and had to request a crib and a baby chair, both of which were provided without any problem.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at imofaila’s home . Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. She easily communicated before and during our stay. She even organized a last min tour to make the most of our time on this beautiful island. The space was clean , comfortable, and in a great location . We hope to have more time in this beautiful space when we return to the island .

Booking at the last minute. Natalia is responsive and available. The hosting was simple and efficient. The place is very relaxing, peaceful and pleasant punctuated by the birdsong. The view of Pico is very nice. We felt at home. Thank you Natalia for a pleasant stay!

Pictures don’t do Justice to this place, if you’re in Pico look no further, it’s next to a vineyard is a big house with all the facilities including a washing machine and the communication with Robert was very good. It’s a 15 min drive to the main area and is close to the beach and a hiking spot. Would love to come back, the sunsets are mesmerizing.

Charming little house perfect for our family staying for a few days in Faial. Very clean accommodation with the amenities and equipment required to make our stay a pleasant one. We had a car which allowed us to access the different sites to visit or hikes to do (car required in our opinion). Perfect location to be in the front row at sunset on the sea. We would definitely return to Ana's.

We felt incredibly lucky to stumble upon (& get to book) Jorge’s summer family home: there is not a better view of Horta in the entire area! We loved having our mornings & evenings overlooking the gorgeous bay & town. There were many evenings we had dinner at home instead of out because we knew we could not beat that front yard! We never met Jorge, but he was so warm & responsive we felt like we knew him. His recommendations were terrific (do go to Peter’s Sport Cafe- the food is excellent & the Gin & Tonic, per their & Jorge’s recommendation, is so smooth & to die for ((& we aren’t even cocktail people)). The house was great; we only had one minor issue, & Marco & Carla, the caretakers, (who are such kind, wonderful people), handled it perfectly. We loved Faial so much! Definitely hike the volcanoes, & go to O Moro Quijeria for the best cheese in the world (seriously!). We certainly recommend this house to others & plan to rent it again ourselves :)

A great spot among the vineyards that is five minutes drive to Madalena and ten minutes to the Pico airport. Good A/C in the rooms. Nice sized kitchen. Comfortable beds. And a nice covered patio for being outside. Thank you!

Paula's Azorean Home was a fantastic accomodation option for my family of three. We have a 1 year old, and suitable accomodation options aren't always easy to find, but Paula's home was perfectly set up for our needs and we felt at home in this most scenic and tranquil location almost Immediately. Paula left us fresh fruit, bread, butter, cheese, olive oil, baby foods and snacks, meaning we didn't need to run to the store nor bring anything with us. The table was set including a highchair, baby utensils and plates, their was a basket of toys and books for our child and a crib was set up in the second room. In every room, Paula has thought about what guests need to feel at home. Thank you for hosting us Paula, we hope to return again one day soon.

Nice, modern place with plenty of space. Quiet area. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Everything as described. You can easily fit 6 people in there.

Thanks to Nuno for his warm welcome, it's nice to see that there are still hosts meeting guests! Thank you also for the delicious jam, the farm eggs and the many tips on the island. The house was great, comfortable and enjoying a great view.
