Monthly Rentals in Hood

Beautiful house and amazing surroundings. We were there to visit the national park and the place is close to the park, local breweries and vineyards. It was easy to get around. The hosts recommendation for a four wheel drive was very sound. Our friends didn’t have a four wheel drive and they could get up all the way to the house but the last little bit is hard to do. Other than amazing place and would definitely visit again.

Firnew Cottage is surrounded by a beautiful setting. My kids loved walking to the river and playing there. We all loved having Firnew’s dog Louie visit us daily. I found picturesque views everywhere while walking the grounds and trails. We were also in a great location to drive out for hikes. Thank you to Alex, David and Trish for being such friendly hosts.

Libby is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We added another night and I'm glad we did! The property was well-kept and beautiful. It had everything you would need and more. Would definitely come back :)

We had a great time at Chris' place in Hood. We felt at home the minute we were in the house. Lots of sunlight which we really enjoyed. Great deck to hand out and a nice BBQ that we used two days. The Conway river is walking distance from the property and my husband and daughter enjoyed fishing after our hiking. The property is great and has everything needed for a perfect getaway in the mountains. The Shenandoah NP is 15 min by car. The property is quiet and secluded, the beds are super comfy. Thank for providing coffee :). This airbnb is highly recommended, Chris was responsive and provided a guide of things to do in the area.
