Vacation rentals in Madison County

The place was very comfortable and has pretty much everything needed for the stay. Bed was cozy and bathroom and kitchen had extra items for stay. There are sometimes train sounds in the distance so if you are a light sleeper bring ear buds. With them I was able to get a restful night's sleep. I went to the Market at Grelen nearby, had pizza from Iron Pipe Aleworks, and visited the Inn at Willow Grove for a massage.

This was our second time at Zachary’s farmhouse. Coming back made it even better as it felt like home. Do not hesitate, rent this house; it truly can’t get better than this location, the comfort, and beauty/cleanliness/taste/organization of Zach’s property. My husband, two toddlers and newborn stayed here and felt right at home! The house was clean, instructions were clear, and local recommendations were given. Very close to breweries, and wineries and hiking trails- just what we were looking for! Will definitely be returning since we didn’t get to do it all!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at this airbnb and it was exactly what we wanted. Somewhere hidden and quiet surrounded by nature. Scene drive to the place and amazing view from the cabin too! For a lift style cabin, it was still spacious for two people who were tall. 10/10 stay! Def will come back to etlan.

Everything was as described. Could have sat by the woodstove enjoying the view the whole time but we also spent plenty of time hiking the property and playing around the river. Hope to make it back sometime.

This place was truly a gem! Not only was the Airbnb lovely, but Michael’s friendliness and hospitality made our stay very memorable. The property itself was private and peaceful (not to mention with an amazing view), while the surrounding area was full of amazing outdoor and indoor activities. Meanwhile, the Airbnb was clean, spacious and incredibly cozy. We especially appreciated Michael’s detailed catalogue of local amenities and attractions. If you’re looking for a perfect Shenandoah getaway, this is the place for you. We could not recommend Michael’s place any higher, and we can’t wait to come back!

We just had an amazing anniversary weekend at Jenn and Daniel's place. The pictures don't do it justice – the property is gorgeous and the bunkhouse was full of natural light. You're between the towns of Culpeper and Sperryville and close to the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive. We had great food, went on many amazing hikes, and were happy to return to this AirBnB to rest up, read, and have some great coffee. The fresh-baked bread and eggs were a nice bonus as well! The hosts were great at recommending food, hikes, and local places to stop. We especially enjoyed getting coffee at Before and After in Sperryville, and dinner at Pinto Thai in Culpeper. We would come back here for sure!
