Monthly Rentals in Honaunau-Napoopoo

The deck is awesome, morning noon and night. Diane was so kind to see if check in was ok as she had not heard from us as we took a side trip to Kilauea the day of the 18th eruption. Needless to say, we ran late! But let her know as soon as arrived and in home. Very sweet.

Glamping at its finest, is what we were looking for and Kathleen delivered it without a doubt! Surrounded by the sounds of the Island with the comforts of home, yet still feeling like you are out in the middle of it all. This place is one of the big reasons we love coming to the Islands for vacation from it all.

My wife , two young children and I very much enjoyed our stay. After days spent swimming and exploring the beaches in the heat, it was great to relax in the cooler temperatures of Captain Cook on the cottage's lanai while taking in the expansive views. It was a delight to return to the cottage each day of our stay!

This place was stunning. I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things about this place. Every evening I was gifted with an incredible sunset. The songs of the frogs lulled me to sleep each night only to wake up to the songs of the birds in the morning. The property is not only lush and green but isolated, private and wonderfully peaceful. The local Kona Only market on Sunday, the poke shop down the street, the local Hawaiian lau lau shop and the excellent Coffee Shack restaurant leave you missing nothing from the tourist center of Kailua Kona except the crowds, cars and hustle and bustle of a crowded tourist center. Great snorkeling and beaches within 15 minutes.
