Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Fossane farm is secluded in quiet and scenic surroundings. We welcome guests all year round. The nostalgic character gives a cozy atmosphere indoors, especially when you fire the wood stove. The house is fully equipped and has what you need of facilities and equipment for short or longer stays. We have a canoe and rent out electric bicycles and in the winter we offer snowshoes and snow spikes so you can walk in the beautiful winter landscape.

The cabin is brand new - designed and built by myself, and of course with the help of friends and family. Bjørheimsheia offers amazing nature experiences. You just need to walk straight out the front door to start directly into marked hiking trails. The park chair is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Feel free to take day trips to Stavanger and the family park Kongeparken or drives on national tourist roads in beautiful surroundings. Røldal is 2 hours drive away and 45min to Gullingen Skisenter. Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Here you can really enjoy life with proximity to hiking areas that are the gateway to Ryfylkeheiane such as Skomakernibboat and Vigatunet and several other famous places, you can also get to the Pulpit Rock if you have a car. Here you can enjoy life on the pier edge and a sea bath if it can tempt. Here you can also cook your own food if you don't want to enjoy a better meal at the local restaurant that is the taste of Ryfylke.

Nice nature nearby and good hiking opportunities for those who want it. Possibilities for barbecue and swimming with the sea, as the sea is only a small walk from the cabin. By the sea there are both diving boards and bathing raft.
