Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hjelmeland Municipality

This home was beautiful, and has stunning views of the nearby fjord. We stayed one night and would have gladly spent several more. There is a hot tub, movie room, games, hair dryer, and multiple kitchen amenities. I was impressed by the number of spaces to relax and enjoy the views. I hope to be able to explore Strand more in the future.

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

Agriculture and Architecture mix. Living on the farm. Hike the property to historical Viking battle site. Golden hour sunset from property was amazing. The boathouse is a special and unique salute to Norway. 🇳🇴 Hope to return and stay longer next time. 🤞

The host is super super warm. There's walking trails in the island that we used to explore the surrounding. The house was built in 1883 but extremely well maintained.

We have stayed with Olaug before and were very pleased, so it was easy to choose to stay here again when we were going to Tysvær again. Nice host, nice house, beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed it 😊 there. Thank you again. Coming back suddenly 😊🌸

The house has a great location and a beautiful view of the fjord. There are also many beautiful hikes that start nearby. Anne Marie and her husband were very friendly, helpful and always quick to reach. We would definitely come back.

We had a great stay and can warmly recommend the place! The location was perfect – close to everything but still quiet. The apartment was clean and fresh with a lovely balcony where we were happy to sit and enjoy the nice view. The kitchen was well equipped, which made cooking easy, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, if not better!

Nice host. Nice apartment that met our needs. Tidy and clean. Nice areas nearby, trails and walking/bicycle paths. Located just outside Stavanger, but easy to get there e.g. by train or bike. We had a car. I recommend the apartment if you don't need to be in the middle of the city.

A very nice and cozy wooden vacation home. On one side a beautiful view, on the other side a view of a neighboring house. A nice terrace with beautiful views. All amenities excellent. We felt very much at home there. The contact with Matthias went smoothly, a sympathetic and quick to respond host. We'd really like to come back again.

Very nice, would love to come back another time

Very much enjoyed our stay at Anders and Torhild's. The apartment is equipped with every comfort, looks beautiful and has a beautiful location. Close to a bay where you can swim, paddleboard, hike and sail. Anders and Torhild were very friendly. Really a place to go back to again. And then for a longer period.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy spaces throughout. There’s even a movie theatre, which we, unfortunately, didn’t have time to enjoy, but my kids were so excited just seeing it! The home is beautifully maintained with a charming backyard that adds a lovely touch of nature and peace!

Had an incredibly nice stay here. The host responded quickly and was very nice and approachable. Everything was in order and the apartment was up to all expectations. Recommended:)

We had a great stay at Bjarne’s place. The barn is equipped with functionalities. Do not expect excessive luxury, but everything works perfectly and the place has a cozy nautical theme that fits the location perfectly. We loved it! We could use the great outdoor space as well and immediately felt welcome by the family. Bjarne gave us great recommendations about the area; the fresh shrimps on thursday/fridays, great hikes and beautiful scenic route that really made the difference during our stay. It was our first time in Norway and we could never have found these ourselves. Next to this we enjoyed the drinks together at the end of the day and the conversations that we had. Great cabin with beautiful views

Wow. what a shame that we booked only for two nights! The property is located at one of the best location we were at Norway, feels like home away from home. The house is well equipped with everything we could have imagined and more. The parking is a bit far from the apartment, but one can get close for unloading the car. The stairs for the upper floor are a bit tricky for the young kids. Nevertheless - totally worth to stay while in Norway.

The accommodation surpassed our expectations. We had the honour of being the first guests after the renovation, and we could see immediately how much love and work Lene and Joakim have put into it. It was definitely an upgrade compared to what we saw on the photos when we booked our stay. Some cosmetic details had not been finished yet, but we didn't mind at all, and Joakim was very transparent and has sent images of the work in progress several times. In general, Joakim was super exact and detailed in his communication. The house is great, we especially liked the peaceful view over the lake and the quiet surrounding. We particularly enjoyed hiking to Sendingfossen/Hiafossen/Hiabolt, highly recommended.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a long and short trip with both family and friends. It is a great starting point from which you can go to many interesting places to see. It is a short drive to Stavanger, Preikestolen, other mountains and mountain trails. Perfect for people who like more peace and appreciate peace and relaxation. The apartment itself looks better than in the photos. It's well-equipped, very clean, and well-maintained. The owner is a communicative person who responded to all messages and was helpful in every way. I can safely say that this is the best place I've ever stayed

We have changed our bookings on short notice and Inger was a very flexible, friendly and pragmatic host. The house is small but very cosy. Feels like typical for Norwegian tradition. The bath is recently renovated and offers modern comfort. The house is located in a quite lovely surrounding with plenty of opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities. Stavanger as a major town can be reached by car easily via tunnel in 30 minutes. If you want to relax and recover in a quite area and impressive nature, this house is the place to choose.

The cabin might be a little tricky to find at first but in exchange you get a cabin that's very private and has an impossibly beautiful view. It's the perfect place to relax, especially with beautiful weather as the sun shines into the living room the entire day.
