This place was perfect for our family get away. The property is awesome, plenty of activities for a week of entertainment! We would definitely stay here again. The place was clean and had all the amenities of home. We will definitely be back!

Everything was as advertised. All of the amenities were in great working order. Caroline was communicative and very responsive. All areas of the cabin were very clean. We had an enjoyable stay.

this cabin was beautiful inside i love the wood barn sliding doors decor was very inviting beautiful fireplace plenty of light waking up to a beautiful view on a private lake great fishing.the wild life we saw were great it was quiet and very peaceful and relaxing i would recommend coming here we will be back again

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I had a fantastic stay at Dawn Marie’s place! The property was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was easy and quick. The space had everything I needed, including plenty of smart TVs and Wi-Fi, kitchen essentials, and a very comfortable beds. plenty of games provided I especially appreciated the coffee provide it was a great touch and made our mornings even better. The view of the water was perfect and truly added to the relaxing atmosphere. On top of that, the place is a smart home, which was really awesome to have it was super convenient and made everything feel modern and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Harrison. Thank you, for a awesome experience

WELL WORTH IT! Be aware lots of steps to the water, but a ton of FUN! Paddle boat, kayaks, and a lily pad! House is very clean, well stocked and comfy beds and pillows! The veiw was gorgeous, may have to come back in the fall for colors. Easy check in, and Chelsea was very responsive!

6th year staying at Dennis and Danielle’s cabin in Gladwin. My family loves staying there, great veiw of lake , great size for my families needs there’s usually 8- to 12 of us. We’ve had good luck fishing, 33 inch Pike, huge bass. We rent a pontoon boat! Will be back next year! Thanks Dennis and Danielle

Excellent stay at this Airbnb. If you are thinking of coming to St Helen to ride the ORV trails, this is an excellent choice! It’s right down the street from St Helen Motorsports, two gas stations, 3 restaurants, 2 pizza shops and multiple trail head entrances within 2 miles or less!!! The house looks exactly like the pictures and description, and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and indoor fireplace were amazing! I will note….it is a bit on the small side. Beds are as described, but feet hang off the bed and rooms are small. 4 grown adults was pushing it here, especially with one bathroom. Also note. There is BARELY enough room for a small truck and trailer to park in front. The other truck had to park underneath the large garage due to no park space. Other than that, which is really just an explanation, it is the ultimate st Helen stop!

The lakefront property was very inviting and clean. The views were spectacular. The host provided everything you would need for the stay ( ie spices, and extra condiments , wood for the fireplace and a nice grill). We enjoyed the hot tub. The water temperature and pressure were great. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely property with an amazing and cute little cabin. Very private, we walked the woods and had bonfires. The hot tub was great! We would definitely come back!

A wonderful place!! Beautiful and peaceful! We had 8 people and it fit everyone comfortably! Plenty of space for kiddos to run around and play. Perfect for a weekend getaway, highly recommend!

Wonderful spot right on the lake. Nice sandy beach with minnows that’ll kiss your toes. Plenty to do on the property and extremely well stocked with everyday amenities; i.e. kitchen utensils, full fridge, tons of towels, washer, dryer, and even a pack n play, high chair, kiddie plates and silverware. We had a blast and will for sure book again!

Courtney gave clear and concise instructions on getting to the cabin. She was flexible on my late check-in time and even gave a detailed map on how to locate the cabin making finding it much easier at 1 in the morning. Her house rules were very detailed so we knew what we needed to do to maintain the place while staying and upon departure. House was very clean and organized. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our time away from town. The fridge was a little warm, not sure if it usually is like that but we had some ice packs from the cooler we used to help bring the temp down. The lake was beautiful, didn’t spend much time there but caught and released several blue gill. The grill by the cabin worked great for my steak as well. We ended the night with a fire and I was surprised with the lack of mosquitoes, I’d say we got lucky! Leaving the air bnb was only hard because we wished we didn’t have to leave! Definitely recommend, we wish to book again in the future🩷

We had a great weekend getaway at Jake’s place. Jake was a great host (very responsive and flexible). The home was filled with character and the location was excellent. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome for my partner and our two dogs. We had plans in Traverse City but decided to stay in, cook, and take in the countryside. We definitely want to stay here again. Host was awesome, responsive, and very flexible and accommodating. We would definitely recommend. 10/10

This is my second stay, but certainly not my last! Cozy and clean, with all the thoughtful touches! Love sitting on the couch in the morning with a cup of coffee and looking out at the woods behind the cabin. Sunday morning we had a porcupine visit. Nothing threatening, just passing through. Rick is always very responsive, and the cabin is spotlessly clean! Close to Roscommon for South Branch AuSable canoeing/kayaking and also close to Grayling for AuSable Main Branch access. For pit is a treat. Quiet and peaceful retreat and located centrally for river access!

Visited St Helen, MI to ride trails with ATV. Trails are great, never ending, lots of friendly other riders, plenty to eat. Woodys Hot Dog stand is amazing!

This stay was beautiful and perfect for what we were looking for! The cabin was spotless and gorgeous and the pull barn was a great add-on would definitely go back again! :) My husband and father and brother in law had a great time with access to the atv trails right from the property!!

The Thunderbird Lodge is a very special place. Great history as a classic fishing lodge on the Au Sable. Very clean for a classic building, communication was as great as it could be, always responded quickly and pleasantly. Completely private, wilderness setting. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
