Vacation rentals with a patio in Hico

Very nice place to stay for a weekend. A hole in the wall. We stayed as a meet in the middle Christmas spot for a family with 4. Everything was accommodating to us. Place is as described in the pictures and very clean and comfy, could be updated a bit. It was easy to find and there was snow when we arrived, they had laid salt to prevent us from slipping. The only things I would say is that there are a couple of steps that can be a little easy to trip on so just be careful, and there is not central heat and air. But they do have space heaters and a tv stand heater so it kept it plenty warm. We had an unexpected issue with the oven during our stay. We were able to contact Diana easy and communicate what had happened. She was very respectful and did her best to make sure that we were taken care of as far as our dinner plans. Her brother also stays upstairs so he was nice and quick to be helpful as well. Overall would recommend if you need a quick stay close to Beckley or the National Park

We had a wonderful time at Angela & Jeff’s place and in the surrounding area. We hiked, biked, and zip lined and had a blast. Enjoyed several local restaurants too. Beautiful location at a comfortable, well-appointed place, we enjoyed our stay immensely, including the fire pit at night under the stars. They have thought of everything here to ensure your comfort and enjoyment and it shows!

The three days I was there it was chilly & it rained… so having the carport was really nice along with the space heaters too. Kitchen had everything I needed and loved having a washer/dryer. Great stay!

Harry’s was a great spot for us to explore new river gorge and bridge day. His place had all we needed to help us feel right at home!!

Sherry has a beautiful home with a large pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The interior was spacious, clean, and well decorated! It felt like a trip to the beach without leaving the mountains. I would recommend this home to anyone planning a vacation around Fayetteville.

Awesome place. We like to hike and do things outdoors and this is a great central location and only 10 mins to grocery etc. Thank you for hosting me and my family.

The Zelek House is a perfect base for rock climbing in the New River Gorge and Summersville Lake area. It has everything you’d want and a lot more. Jessica and David have created a gorgeous and very comfy home with tons of cool design details and special extras that make you feel extremely welcome. They really have gone above and beyond as Airbnb hosts. It was a perfect place to relax and really enjoy being away from work.

Oak Hill is the perfect spot to stay for accessing supermarkets, with Fayetteville nearby for great shops and cafes. There are even a couple of very good outdoor stores. The shop keepers are super friendly and you end up feeling like Norm from Cheers, getting great banter each time you visit.

We climbed loads in the gorge, went for trail walks, explored the old mining towns and took a trip to Tamarack to see local arts and crafts. We were luck enough to meet Jessica and David (and their family) which was a real treat.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

We only stayed one night on the halfway point of our road trip, but the stay made us want to return to Zach's place! Definitely will make plans to stay longer in the future!

We had a great time staying at Isabel's place. The location was fantastic - perfect for Bridge Day and as a home base for other activities in the National Park. The home is very spacious, and our son really enjoyed the ping pong table and darts in the basement!

Absolutely wonderful experience! When we accidentally locked ourselves out of the property, our host Shane was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to drive an hour just to let us in. Their communication and willingness to help turned a stressful situation into a memorable one. The place itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend staying here—our host truly made our trip awesome!

Worked out great, was centrally located for everything we wanted to do during our stay. Very clean too, I appreciate that.
