How discounts are applied

Discounts are a great way to offer enticing deals to your guests—and help get your listing booked faster. There are different kinds of discounts and promotions available, but only one offer can be applied per reservation.

Available discounts and promotions

You can set, edit, or delete any available discounts and promotions for homes in your calendar, under Pricing. You can do the same for services and experiences from the Listing editor. Available offers may include:

Homes

• New listing promotion: When you have a new listing, you can offer a 20% discount on your first 3 bookings
• Custom promotion: If your home listing has at least 3 bookings, you can offer a custom promotion—just choose your dates and your discount
• Length-of-stay discounts: Give guests a discount for booking longer reservations at your place. You can discount by the week, month, or a custom time frame that you create using rule-sets
• Early-bird discounts: Add a discount for booking further in advance
• Last-minute discounts: Reduce your nightly price as the check-in date gets closer

Services and experiences

• Limited-time: Offer a deal for the next 30 days to encourage first bookings for services or experiences
• Early bird: Give a lower price to guests who book more than two weeks in advance
• Large groups: Attract larger groups by giving them a discount
