Had a wonderful stay. Well worth the short drive. Comfortable with many amenities. High end appliances, well stocked pantry and plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware. The porch was my favorite spot to relax and there is a walking path with bench seating to enjoy the surroundings. You will not be disappointed.

We needed a place to stay that was pet friendly in order to attend a funeral and they were very accommodating with our needs. they were extremely nice and any time we needed help they gave us a hand. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for 2 couples to arrive for an early morning (6 a.m.) viewing of Sandhill Cranes at Rowe Sanctuary. The place is quiet with two comfortable bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It was more than spotlessly clean - it shone with careful maintenance. The heavily used Union Pacific rail main line is only 2 blocks away, but the whistle sounds were not disturbing and welded rail means that there is no clickety-clack. The sleeping was fine. An altogether wonderful place to stay.

We came to see the cranes, and the cabin was only 5 minutes from the Plautz Crane Viewing Platform, so we chose it for the location. But also my family liked the property (it was an under-10-minute walk to one of the Platte channels), the front porch, the television, the well-stocked kitchen, the separate bedrooms, and the gas stove in the living area. Cranes flew directly over the cabin in the morning. We are breakfast at the cabin and used the Keurig coffee maker and supplied coffee. Drove into Kearney for dinner.

This place was wonderful! Everything was exactly as described and very clean. It’s walking distance to a great coffee shop and the restaurants on Main Street, but still quiet. We loved the outdoor fire pit and sat there every night. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We highly recommend Linda’s place. Beautifully decorated with lots of special touches and everything we needed for a great stay. We felt immediately at home furniture was comfortable, and the bed was super comfortable too and great quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to activities and restaurants. wonderful communication with host. We will definitely stay here again and recommend anyone in the area. There was a little confusion checking in but the host was nearby and came to let us in. The apartment is exactly as pictured, older building with exposed brick and tin ceilings, great views of the area and comfortable like home. We were close to coffee shops, restaurants and antiques. It’s a very walkable location and street parking was not an issue.

Why stay in a hotel when you can have the luxury of a beautifully decorated loft in the heart of downtown Grand Island, right above an ice cream shop?! Well lit, safe location for walking, dining and coffee. The loft and host makes you feel like home. Very clean and comfortable. Very well done. Dana was wonderful about providing a last minute request for an earlier check in. Love the option to do laundry right before you pack up!

Katie was super responsive. The place was clean and exactly as described, except it was bigger than expected. One thing to know about the place is there is no place in town to eat on the weekends. Everything is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But the host has nothing to do with that.
