Great place to stay above a friendly local pub. If you want a place that is away from it all then this is it. The bathroom and toiletries are a real treat.

This was possibly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The Lodge is beautiful, peaceful and private. We whiled away the hours reading and gazing at the beautiful view. It was bliss. We would recommend this 100%

A very quirky cottage, beautiful interior , lovely little garden with a seating area, parking for one car . Great location close to the high road , for provisions, coffee shops, restaurants, take aways etc( cottage very peaceful, no traffic noise) nice walks nearby for walking the dogs. Ideal location for me as I was visiting family and friends nearby . Owners live next door should you need them ( I didn’t , as everything was catered for) Will definitely be back . Lizzie was very responsive and informative, including preheating the hot tub for us! The location is great, beautiful and peaceful. By far the most private space despite having neighbouring cabins you were nicely spread out and private. Plenty of amenities included, especially in the garden area. Lovely homely vibe inside, everything you need! We couldn’t work the WiFi to the bedroom tele but managed to hotspot from our phone. We also arrived late and heated the hot tub too hot to use :( this was very much an us problem as the hot tub had plenty of info/ faq’s but we didn’t have time to let it cool between the hot tub use hours. Would come again, delightful place :) thanks for having us! ☺️

We loved our stay at Andy’s place with our parents and our 2 young children. It is in a beautiful and peaceful village. The cottage is really quirky, clean and cosy - had everything we needed for our stay, Andy has thought of lots of extra details which make it a really enjoyable stay. Everything is easy to find and use with Andy’s helpful notes and labels. We really loved the toys and games for the kids so this kept them entertained! we were lucky with the weather our stay we used the lovely little garden a lot which is private and a nice wee suntrap, also has the added bonus of the sauna which was brilliant. Andy was really friendly and helpful upon check in and out and quick communication if we needed anything. Would really recommend a stay here and we will definitely return if back in the area. Really comfortable, had everything we needed. Great location, just off the main road but in a quiet and attractive village. Good communication before stay, and friendly welcome. Safe and easy parking.

Sally’s place felt like going through a portal into a magical garden. The house was so cozy with beautiful vintage decor and an amazing fireplace. The highlight of the trip was eating breakfast outside by the river and watch the ducks. And can’t forget about the lovely host Sally is! Always responsive and helpful with lots of good food and nature walks recommendations.
