Monthly Rentals in Hartington

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location. The cottage had everything we could need and more. The beds were very comfortable, the accommodation was clean and there was a lovely selection of books and games. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), and had tonnes of space. It could have very comfortably have slept 6. Hartington is a beautiful village with everything you could need.. pubs, a village store, tea room, cheese shop… We did a nice 3 mile walk right from the door to the river dove and to a little cave (our 4 year old son doesn’t enjoy walking but he absolutely loved it). Our 7 year old daughter said she will be coming back to The Cottage with her own family when she’s older. We will be recommending this accommodation to family. And hope to be back one day. If you want to get away for a few days for peace and quite, lovely scenery, nice walks etc. I highly recommend Rose Cottage. Well presented, clean and comfortable for 1 or 2 people, John was really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely consider returning.

Cosy cottage with much thought given to furnishing. Appreciated the bread, butter, cheese and milk on arrival. Nice pub and tea room nearby along with a walk opposite along the Manifold Trail, our dog enjoyed it. Traffic noise may disturb you if you are sensitive to noise, it does get busy at times.

As soon as we entered the cottage it was homely, clean and welcoming. It had everything you could possibly need. Everything on the doorstep, pubs, shops and amazing walks. Phill kept me updated with everything and checked everything was ok for us and to not hesitate if we needed anything and to just give him a message. Would definitely recommend the cottage and the lovely area
