Vacation rentals with beach access in Hardanger

We had a great time at this apartment in Bergen. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Downtown is easily walkable, with shops nearby. The journey to the airport is simple with only one metro line. A big thank you to our host for his warm welcome, even at a very early hour after our flight, as well as for the vehicle rental he offered us, making our visits around Bergen much easier. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Cozy little apartment in fantastic location. Cheerful host who was helpful and flexible with check-in and checkout. We only stayed one night, but with the beautiful view we could have stayed more.

It was a great stay for halfway between Oslo and Bergen. Roomy and kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Amazing find! This place is absolutely magical— even better than the pictures! Being right on a fjord was a unique experience. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the heart of Bergen. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this cozy accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable getaway!

Lovely place, peaceful and quiet, its about a 20 minute walk from the city centre but the buses on the main road which is 5 minutes away are frequent. There are lots of hilly parts to climb and lots of stairs in the building itself just to be aware of. Hosts were very quick to respond to any queries and very helpful with instructions. Great location and price for the city. We had a lovely week long visit.

We had a great time at Gitte's place and felt right at home. The kitchen is very large and the terrace is also very nice to linger on. Thank you for the lovely stay.

One of my top 5 airbnb stays across the globe, The location is an absolute gem. Nestled in a serene and private setting, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peace and quiet were truly restorative. What truly set this property apart was the abundance of activities available. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our days fishing in the nearby lake, leisurely rowing on the water, and engaging in friendly competition with the provided board games, BBQ in the evenings. As night fell, the lack of light pollution made for breathtaking stargazing when the skys are clear. Truly a recommended place.

Perfect place close to the speedboat. Possibility to rent a boat. 4 double rooms on the 2nd floor. One in the basement with a private bathroom. Gold clean. Well-equipped. Service-minded hosting.

We were 3 adult people and a dog who spent two nights at Olaug's place. Her home is very cozy and has everything you could possibly need. Lots of beds, large sofa and large dining table. Lovely garden with lots of bird life, and wonderful surrounding area. Lots of nice nearby hiking areas and. Communication and check-in without any problem. We'll be sure to come back. Great cabin for big and small, there were 12 of us and had plenty of room. One room took a whole family mtp number of beds, otherwise it was good size also in the other rooms. A little floor cold, recommend bringing slippers in winter. Perfect space for New Year's Eve celebrations for dogs who are not too fond of too much fireworks.

Beautiful place with magnificent views of the fjord. It feels like you're on a ship. Very quiet, you can fish right from the seat of the house. Great boat trips possible as well as many beautiful hikes right in the area. Morten is a kind-hearted host who is always available with good advice. We hope to come back to this wonderful place one day.

Trude was the best host you could ask for. Had some lovely conversations and felt part of the local community because of her. The place is gorgeous and will leave you feeling recharged and relaxed. What a beautiful, clean, and simply well decorated home filled with everything you could need. The views out the window was spectacular and the location of where it is situated made it easy to go out, shop, eat, or drink! Knut was beyond helpful as to his recommendations for us, first-time visitors to Norway, and was friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Knut! A charming apartment where I did feel home away from home. You have everything you need even for a longer stay. Convenient location with a 10-15 minutes bus ride or a good 40ish minutes walk to the fish market; bus station & a grocery store near by. Yngvild is very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this place and would rent it again if I would go back to Bergen.

The pictures don't quite do the place justice - very sizable for two people and ample kitchen setup for any sort of cooking. Huge living room and balcony area (compared to someone visiting from Copenhagen/Stockholm) which made it easy to relax and be at peace after long hikes/walks. Located a few bus stops away from the town center which made for a quiet stay, feeling more like a local than a tourist. Would definitely consider staying again

Loved our stay at Trude’s and Johan’s! The location is so nice - it’s in a more peaceful and cute part of the town yet extremely close to the center (five minutes away by bus with a bus stop a minute away or a lovely 15-20 minute stroll). Less than a minute away from the water, the groceries store and the Fisheries museum. The place is cozy and fully equipped! Johan has been incredible in providing instructions and advice on local transport, events happening in town, restaurants, things to do, you name it. Just in case you need fast internet connection there is a small quirk to be aware of: there is fast wifi but there is a blind spot near the kitchen door/dining table where it nearly drops off. The WiFi is super fast on the opposite side of the room though:)
