This is a tiny loft which has been thoughtfully created to relax and enjoy the amenities of the historical center. Enjoy your stay at the Como Lake in our Airbnb with jacuzzi and fireplace. If this is not enough, the local winery and restaurants are just downstairs! Use of the jacuzzi: read the house rules carefully please.
The space
We like to offer the space to artists, writers, bloggers, vloggers and of course lovers or honeymooners! Come and be inspired by the historical atmosphere and the proximity to the lake. Sailors are very welcome: the waters of the harbor are 50 meters far. At the same walking distance, you can find the departing deck of the water taxi service.
NOTE
The space is very much recommended if you need a pied-à-terre downtown for some relaxing time, a comfy base to explore the surroundings, or if you come from the waters due to its proximity to the harbor.
We review every inquiry, a short introduction of yourself and your reason for travelling to Bellano is a good way to start.
Please read house rules section on this listing page and also the health & safety section. If you book your stay, you have read and acknowledged them, and you will comply to. There is a paper mini guide at the loft also for your quick reference.
Restaurants in our town arrange take away so you can book a dinner and enjoy your stay at the loft if you do not want to cook a meal yourself! Check with local restaurants at the premises or contact them directly in advance by phone.

- Please be kind, you will be guested in a historical building with an internal courtyard (free access). People reside all along the year in this building. Have fun as much as you can during your stay, be friendly and do not forget the good manners.
- NOTE that due to local and national legislation, your stay (and ID's) will be registered to the police local authority and for Tourism Tax purpose. You will be required to pay 3 euros per person per night (exclusion of minor of 12 years old). Official receipt issued and delivered to you thereafter.
- The neighbourhood is extremely safe and amenities are walking distance but we decline any responsibility in case of burglary while you occupy the apartment or robbery of whatsoever goods or objects that is in your possession.
- Call emergency national number 112 in case you need medical assistance or if you need police authority assistance.
- You can park your car in the public parking spaces nearby. A map will be sent to you for ease of use.
- No key is required to walk in the courtyard and walk up the stairs case. The door of our tiny loft is provided with a Master Safe lock. You will check in yourself if we are not available to accompany through the process. You will be able to open the Safe lock (which is located at the brown gate upstairs the courtyard) with a unique combination. You will find inside 1) the key of the brown gate, 2) the key of the glass door on the common balcony, 3) the key of the apartment entrance door. Please bear in mind that if we are not available for the check in, we will provide you with the unique combination of the Safe lock only after having received from you a picture of the passports/ID of each guest and a selfie of each guest with a clear picture of the faces taken at the brown gate where the safe lock is located. Bellano is a municipality that implemented a modern system to separate dry trash and food left-over from recyclable items (glass or paper). More instructions will be provided on premises. At the loft you will find few bins, each of them dedicated to one type of trash.
USE OF THE FIREPLACE: the fireplace works automatically and uses dry wood pellets. It is set up to produce a temperature of 20-22 grades Celsius and there is nothing more to do than switch it on or off. Press ON for few second until you ear "beep" to switch it on, the system will start up and after few minutes the fire will start. When you switch it OFF (press the same button you used to switch it on for few seconds), please note that the shutdown process will take some minutes and, on the display, you will read "PULIZIA FINALE", only when the display shows "SPENTA" it will be fully turned down. If you stay several days at the loft, the cup in the fireplace where pellets flow in to burn requires to be cleaned every day. There is a special small portable vacuum cleaner to use and clear the burner/cup from the dust and the ashes. We will show you more in details on the premises.
If the pellets end, the display will show "CARICA PELLET", fill up the container opening the lid in front of the display, the fireplace will start up after few minutes of automatic resetting.
The loft is provided with 3 (x15kg) packs of pellets, more than enough for a stay of an entire weekend duration. For any additional packs, if needed, a charge of 8 euros/pack is applied (to be paid through Airbnb, no cash accepted).

USE OF THE JACUZZI: The warm water comes from a boiler. READ AND UNDERSTAND AND ACT ACCORDINGLY: THIS IS NOT A THERMAL BATH! The warm water is provided by a 250-liter capacity boiler that is not heating continuously and if emptied too quickly can deliver mild to cold temperature water only, so please be careful not to empty it too quickly, it will take 4,30 h before the full capacity is restored and you can make another jacuzzi. If you empty the boiler with a long shower or more than one before using the jacuzzi, you won't have enough warm water to use the jacuzzi. Fill in the jacuzzi with water up to cover the pressured air valves, walk in slowly, seat in and switch on the button AIR POOL at the rounded commands panel on the side of the jacuzzi. The commands + and - are disabled because the air pressure is provided with a constant speed, it cannot be regulated. We provide an essential oil based on herbs and natural perfumes which is suitable for the resin of the jacuzzi. Please be aware that we decline any responsibility in case you are allergic to any of its component, read the label before deciding to use it and use that moderately. The jacuzzi can be enjoyed obviously also without any additional products in the water. IT IS STRICLY FORBIDDEN to use SOAP or DETERGENT because if you do so, an enormous amount of foam will be generated and it will flood the entire loft and downstairs the level 1 (jacuzzi is at level 2, next to master bed). The foam will also block the entire plant, meaning that we will have to request you to compensate for the costs to reinstate the jacuzzi and the place if additional damages are found (Airbnb claim management team will deal with this, not us). PLEASE DO NOT FILL UP THE JACUZZI USING THE HAND SHOWER. PLEASE USE INSTEAD THE NOZZLE OF THE TUB TURNING IT ON WITH THE ROUNDED FAUCET (THE ONE WITH THE RED CIRCLE) UNTIL THE WATER FLOWS FROM THE NOZZLE, AND CHECK THAT NO WATER IS FLOWING FROM THE HAND SHOWER DOWN INTO THE HOLE WHERE THE FLEXIBLE PIPE OF THE HAND SHOWER COMES FROM. We will provide you with enough towels to enjoy the spa corner and you can always dry them using the tumble dryer located behind the curtain. USE OF THE BOSE WIRELESS SOUND SYSTEM: pair your smartphone to our portable and waterproof Bose speaker and enjoy your relaxing music at the jacuzzi or manage hands free your phone call when immersed in the whirlpools. Waterproof does not mean that it can be immersed in the water (ATTENTION!), but you can touch it with your wet hand without damaging it.
USE OF THE TUMBLE DRIER: this is ideal if you wish to dry up the towels of the spa corner after using the jacuzzi. Use the button PUSH&GO (blue button on the command panel on the left). The tumble dryer will set automatically duration and power based on the amount of humidity of your towels or laundry.
USE OF WASHING MACHINE and the A/C: please read carefully the manual at the premises. If the A/C starts vibrating, please turn off and restart. Vibrations will stop. Thanks
THE CANDLE IN THE LANTERN: please use the candle inside the lantern only, and do not move the candle outside the lantern. This would prevent damages to the Jacuzzi or the floor and ensure the more general safety of the entire loft!
THE WI-FI: at the end of the staircase on the wall to your left a bit below the A/C there is a switchboard with: (i) a button for the light in the master bed level and (ii) a second button for the WI-FI router. This is labelled with a sticker having the word "WI-FI". If you inadvertently touch it, mistaking it for the light switcher, and turn it off, you will lose the signal for internet in the loft. Please switch it on again and wait 5 minutes that the signal gets back again. Internet service (EOLO) is by an antenna fixed on the roof and 5 minutes are required by this system to restart correctly. Be patient and you will get the WI-FI back working.
THE ROOF WINDOWS: it is recommended to close the roof windows when leaving the premises, summer storms are usual.
THE STOVE in the kitchenette: please it got broken already twice because guests placed heavy or unusual objects above its glass surface, especially when hot or just used. We request that you keep it free from objects and you use it only for its purpose, placing the dedicated pans to cook on it.
Final recommendation, in the courtyard building there are people residing the entire year long, also a family with kids. The wall of the loft is isolated with panels to keep warm and noises in but please be polite and moderate the party mood if you can, especially during the late evening.
We kindly ask you when you come in the property, to always close the glass door in the hall and the brown gate at the start of the balcony walk from the inside, in respect to the neighbors. Thanks for the understanding.

Other things to note
Be informed that accessibility is difficult due to the ancient stones staircase that from the courtyard brings to the shared balcony where the entrance door is located, and to the split of the loft in 2 levels connected by a tiny staircase (as per picture), therefore this listing is not suited for guests with disability.
The space is not set up for a child (above 2 years of age), but if you are a family of 3 and travel with your infant (below 2 years of age) please be aware that there is not a dedicated bed, neither a crib is provided, and the internal staircase is not protected with safety gates. If you come with your travel crib, there is enough space to accommodate it at the level 1 of the loft.
