The space
Escape to the ultimate mountain sanctuary where rustic charm meets high-end entertainment. This sprawling log cabin offers three levels of thoughtfully designed space, ensuring your group has plenty of room to connect or find a quiet corner to recharge.

The Main Floor: Gathering & Comfort
Upon entering, you are greeted by an open-concept living area featuring soaring ceilings and massive windows. The gourmet kitchen and dining area are perfectly equipped for group feasts, while the cozy living room invites you to unwind. This level also features the Master Suite for easy access, a convenient half bath, and full laundry facilities.

The Upper Level: Rest & Reflection
Head upstairs to find two beautifully appointed bedrooms: one with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed, sharing a full bathroom. Tucked away in the loft is a charming reading nook with two plush bean bag chairs—the perfect spot for a morning coffee or getting lost in a book.

The Lower Level: The Ultimate "After-Hours" Lounge
The walk-out basement is a total game-changer. It features its own bar with a seating area and kitchenette, making it the perfect hub for movie nights or game days. Enjoy some friendly competition with:

The Great Outdoors
Step outside to breathe in the crisp mountain air from the massive wrap-around deck. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit to roast s'mores and watch the stars appear over the ridgeline.

Guest access
Guests will enjoy full access to the entire home and will be able to park three vehicles in the private driveway. Guests will find guest passes inside of the home. The guest passes will grant them access to all of the amenities within the Rumbling Bald community as well as some select events and activities.

Other things to note
This home is secluded in the mountains and the nearest city is about a 30-40 minute drive. While this setting offers an unforgettable mountain vacation, it also is accompanied by spotty cell phone service. We recommend that you print out directions and check-in instructions before travelling in case you lose cell service along the drive.

Lake Lure has gone through an extensive restoration process after Hurricane Helene and is happy to welcome back visitors! The lake is expected to be fully open in May 2026, just in time for the warmer weather!
