Minutes to open water and Jug Creek Marina! Wait till you see this freshly updated cottage! Bring your boat, or rent one nearby. There is a dock available here. Tarpon capital of the world, and Charlotte Harbor moments away! Boca Grande, Cayo Costa, Useppa, North Captiva, Sanibel and Cabbage Key, etc. a short boat ride away! The golf carts/kayaks/boats/bikes are available to rent at local resources! Jug Creek Marina is steps away with food & music!

The space
The house is loaded with all the things needed to stay, including beach chairs, towels, umbrella, coffee maker, pots, pans, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels and usually even a small supply of laundry detergent items. There is a washer and dryer for your personal use at the cottage.

World class tarpon fishing, superb flats fishing for reds, & Snook in the mangroves, Trout in the grass, giant Sharks in the pass, Mackerel in the harbor, Grouper on the wrecks. Jug Creek Marina is on the street, so just steps away from your personal seafood market. This cottage has quick access to Shell Pass, Pine Island sound, Charlotte Harbor. There is a boat ramp(Lavendar Landings) a block away. There are beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and great kayaking in the area. There is a resident dolphin at the end of the street! See him from land or while kayaking or boating!

Entire cottage is yours during your stay. The bathroom floor is made of real nickels! If this cottage isn’t available for the dates you are looking for, then check the other cottage. Each uniquely decorated and will not disappoint!

The golf carts/kayaks/boats/bikes are available to rent through a local resources! Golf cart approved areas make it a fun addition to the trip! Bike ride the entire 18 mile island and stop for lunch or views! Kayaking this area is voted as one of the top spots and boating and fishing, what can I say.. both amazing off this island!

It is right across the street from Waterside. This makes it fun for friends or extended family to stay right next to you for holidays, etc.

If you bring in people who are not included on the reservation, or plan to host a party, gathering or event your reservation is subject to immediate termination and forfeiture of all fees paid. Also, late checkouts make it almost impossible to prepare for next guests. To minimize this problem I charge 50.00 per hour after the 11:00 check out time unless discussed with me prior. Sometimes late check out isn’t an issue. A 100 fee will be charged if a pet is brought on the property due to people with allergies.

Kayaks - there is a spot Carmen’s kayaks on the next street over and you’d be on one of the top rated paddle excursion “paths” in America, right at the end of the canal!!

We are within minutes of the Alden Pines Country Club. It’s an “Old Florida” style golf course and is open the the public.

Pine island also features heated community pool, Pickleball courts, service clubs ( VFW, Moose, Elks, Am Legion).
