The space
Sweet Tea & Palm Trees has everything you need for a family vacation.
The Front Yard:
When you arrive, you'll be surrounded by lush palm trees and a big Southern-style front porch, perfect for sipping Sweet Tea! Try out the front rocker or porch swing and listen closely to the sound of the ocean. Plus, no steep steps!
The Backyard:
The backyard is a tropical oasis! You'll be blown away by the large covered deck with comfortable seating for everyone. We have more than just a fire pit - it's a state-of-the art gas fire table with luxurious barstool seating for six.
You can find more backyard relaxation by trying out the hammock or the 2nd porch swing. If you want to get moving, we've got a brand new corn hole set waiting for you.
The Beach:
Sweet Tea & Palm Trees has everything you need for your stroll to the beach. We've got you covered with a beach cart and beach chairs, beach bags, and beach towels. And the best part is the beach is an easy 10-minute walk through the scenic marsh. Plus, rent a Kayak at the nearby Davis Creek (just 2 blocks away).
Inside the home, we're fully stocked--we've thought of everything!
Sun Room:
*The sun room is the perfect place to get full views of the backyard and is a peaceful setting for your morning coffee.
Kitchen:
*Enjoy our coffee & tea bar with a Keurig and a wide variety of choices for everyone, including Starbucks.
*The wine refrigerator will keep your wine just the right temperature for your evening enjoyment.
*The kitchen is fully stocked with Cuisinart knives, wine glasses, grill tools, travel cups and everything you need for a home cooked (or heated up) meal.
*The large farmhouse table seats 6.
Bathrooms:
*Lotions and sprays and spa-quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash will pamper you.
*There are plenty of bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for everyone.
Electronics:
*Every room has a Smart TV with streaming services.
*If you need to work during your stay, we've got a dedicated office space and Broadband Internet service with complimentary WiFi.
Entertainment:
*The bunk room features a multi-game table with pool, fooseball, ping pong, air hockey, chess, checkers and more!
*For rainy days indoors, we've got books for all ages, magazines, board games and playing cards.
Bedroom:
*The front facing bedroom has beautiful palm tree views and feels like a calming oasis. The queen bed has received rave reviews on how comfortable it is. Plus, you'll love the 50 inch Smart TV!
Primary Bedroom/Bunk Room:
*You'll find another large bedroom with an en suite bathroom and office space. This bedroom opens up to the bunk room (also accessible from the deck). This huge space has the same luxurious queen bed and is really an oasis for an entire family. The bunk bed also has a trundle, so 3 kids can sleep comfortably.
Living Room:
*The living room is bright and beach-y. The 50-inch Smart TV make it a great space for gathering. We've also got an antenna for local TV. The sleeper sofa is queen size and comfortable.
Laundry Room:
*You'll love the state-of-the-art washer and dryer.
Guest access
The entire home, indoors and outdoors is available for you as our guest. The home is accessed by a Smart Lock door and code.

We strive to make your vacation as seamless as possible. Here are a few optional 'extras' we offer:
Shibumi Shade Rental: This blue sun shade is a staple of beach-goers in North Carolina, and it will make your beach trip 100% more enjoyable! ($75 for the duration of your stay).
Grocery Concierge Service: If you'd like to arrive with a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry, we're here to help! Simply order online through Publix for your arrival date. ($50 service fee).
Seafood Boil Concierge Service: A seafood boil is a Southern beach tradition! Skip the line and let us pick up your order, have it waiting for you in the refrigerator for your arrival, plus we'll have your dining room table set and ready. Simply place your online order, then just show up and enjoy! ($50 service fee).
Special Occasion Decorations: If you're coming for a wedding, bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday, anniversary or other special occasion, we can have the house decorated for your arrival! Simply order your decor online and we'll do the decorating! ($50 service fee).
