Historic ground-floor 2BR in the heart of the French Quarter, with a king bedroom, queen bedroom, twin loft and queen sleeper sofa. Step through the shared courtyard and explore Bourbon Street, Royal Street, Jackson Square and Frenchmen Street on foot. Full kitchen and no stairs to the main apartment. Note: loft accessed by ladder; historic construction means courtyard, street and upstairs noise may be heard.

The space
Stay in the heart of the French Quarter in a character-filled ground-floor apartment with two private bedrooms, flexible sleeping space, a full kitchen, and Saint Philip’s shared historic courtyard just outside.

One of this apartment’s biggest advantages is its ground-floor location — there are no stairs required to reach the main apartment or its bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living space. Step outside and you’re immediately connected to the courtyard, while Bourbon Street, Royal Street, Jackson Square, Frenchmen Street, restaurants, bars and live music are all within walking distance.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The apartment can accommodate guests with:

1 king bed in the primary bedroom
1 queen bed in the second bedroom
1 twin bed in the loft
1 queen sleeper sofa in the living room

PRIMARY BEDROOM

The private primary bedroom features a king bed with a memory foam mattress, Smart TV, and sitting area.

Double doors open directly toward Saint Philip Street, adding another layer of authentic French Quarter character to the space.

SECOND BEDROOM

The second private bedroom features a queen bed with a memory foam mattress, Smart TV, and sitting area — a comfortable private sleeping space for another couple, family members, or friends.

LOFT

A semi-private loft above the main space provides a twin bed and additional sleeping space for one guest.

The loft is accessed by a ladder and is best suited for someone comfortable climbing.

LIVING SPACE

The living area offers a comfortable place to unwind between adventures in the Quarter, with a queen sleeper sofa and Smart TV.

This is a historic apartment with a cozy footprint rather than an oversized modern floor plan. For groups using all of the sleeping arrangements, expect the living area to become part of the sleeping space at night.

KITCHEN

The kitchen includes a gas stove, cookware, microwave, dishes, glassware, cutlery, mini-fridge, coffee maker, toaster and the everyday essentials needed for a morning coffee, leftovers from dinner, or a meal at home.

COURTYARD

Just outside, Saint Philip’s shared historic courtyard offers a wonderful place to slow down between exploring the city.

Bring your morning coffee outside, sit by the fountain, or enjoy a drink before dinner. Guests often tell us the courtyard becomes an extension of their living space during their stay.

GOOD TO KNOW

GROUND FLOOR: The main apartment is located entirely on the ground floor, with no stairs required to access the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen or living area. The only ladder is inside the apartment for guests choosing to use the loft.

HISTORIC SOUND: Saint Philip is a historic French Quarter property, and soundproofing is not the same as a modern building. Because this apartment is on the ground floor near the shared courtyard and street, you may hear footsteps from the apartment above, courtyard activity, the building entrance, or occasional street noise. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

COZY FOOTPRINT: This apartment offers several sleeping options, but it is not an oversized space. We want guests to arrive with the right expectations, particularly larger groups using the loft and sleeper sofa.

LOFT ACCESS: The twin loft is accessed by a ladder and is best suited for guests comfortable climbing.

HISTORIC CHARACTER: Saint Philip is a historic French Quarter property, and its original architecture, unconventional layouts, courtyard setting and beautiful imperfections are part of the experience.

THE LOCATION

This is where the apartment shines.

You’ll be in one of New Orleans’ most walkable neighborhoods, with Bourbon Street, Royal Street, Jackson Square, Café du Monde, the French Market, Frenchmen Street, restaurants, cocktail bars, galleries and live music all within easy reach.

For guests who want a true French Quarter setting, ground-floor convenience and a courtyard just outside their door, this apartment makes a charming home base for experiencing New Orleans.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to the entire apartment, including both bedrooms, loft, living area, kitchen, and bathroom.

The apartment is located on the ground floor, with no stairs required to reach the private entrance or access the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and main living area.

Please note that the loft inside the apartment is accessed by a ladder.

You’re also welcome to enjoy Saint Philip’s shared historic courtyard during your stay.

Self check-in is available via keypad for an easy and flexible arrival.

During your stay
We respect your privacy and make check-in seamless with self check-in and keypad access to the building and your suite.

We are available when needed and only a message or phone call away throughout your stay. Most guests enjoy a fully independent, contactless experience, but we are happy to assist if anything comes up.

Other things to note
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT

We completely understand travel schedules can vary, and when we’re able to, we’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. These are only possible when our cleaning and preparation schedule allows and cannot be guaranteed or planned in advance.

Because each stay is carefully scheduled, we’re not able to confirm these requests ahead of time, but if availability opens up closer to your arrival or departure, we’ll always reach out and let you know.

PARKING (FRENCH QUARTER)

You’re staying in the heart of the French Quarter—one of the most walkable and vibrant areas in New Orleans—so most guests find a car is not necessary during their stay.
We do not offer onsite parking. Street parking is available nearby, but it is limited, metered during the day (7 AM–7 PM) with 2-hour limits, and free overnight where permitted (7 PM–7 AM). As always in the French Quarter, please carefully follow posted signage.

There are also several nearby paid parking garages throughout the area, including Premium Parking and other private parking operators. These are independent third-party companies not affiliated with the property and operate at their own set rates and availability. Guests often find the Premium Parking app helpful for locating and reserving parking in advance.

When available, there is also a loading zone directly in front of the property that may allow for quick drop-off, pickup, or luggage loading. This is not guaranteed and is subject to city enforcement and availability.

HISTORIC FRENCH QUARTER BUILDING

You’ll be staying in a beautifully preserved early-1800s French Quarter building filled with the charm and character that make New Orleans so unique.

The home has been thoughtfully updated for modern comfort while maintaining many original architectural features, including doors, walls, and windows. These details reflect the authentic history of the building and the city itself.

Please note the property does not have an elevator, and access is via stairs.

As with many historic homes in New Orleans, you may notice natural aging or small imperfections throughout the space, these are part of its original character and not defects, but part of its story.
