This authentic 1 bedroom + loft/1 bathroom space is located in the heart of the iconic French Quarter.
We are less than 50 steps from Bourbon St, the finest restaurants in the world, as well as countless attractions.

The space
The "Armstrong" apartment is located on the third floor and faces the quaint indoor courtyard. This eclectic deluxe apartment is where modern chic meets old-world charm. It can comfortably sleep 5 with one king-size bed, one queen size sofa sleeper, and an additional twin bed located in the loft bedroom. (Please note there is a 9 step ladder to reach that loft.)

This upscale apartment boasts beautiful exposed wooden beams, luxurious real wood floors, 14 ft vaulted ceiling, and a magnificent 5 ft chandelier that take you back in time to the late 1800s.

The modern amenities such as a walk-in shower and fully equipped modern kitchen remind you of home.

You can sip your morning coffee in the courtyard while listening to the water fountain or relax in the evening with some wine after a day spent seeing the sights and sounds of the historic French Quarter.

PARKING
We do not offer onsite parking due to our French Quarter location. Street parking is available with metered 2-hour limits during the day (7 AM–7 PM). Overnight street parking is free where permitted (7 PM–7 AM). Please follow all posted signage.

There are also several nearby paid parking garages and lots throughout the French Quarter, most operated by Premium Parking. Guests typically find the Premium Parking app helpful for real-time availability.

Saint Philip Residence a Hospitality of New Orleans property has been often called the best-hidden gem in the city. The building is a brick double townhouse that follows the Creole traditional architectural style. Its exterior stairways, balustrades, window treatments, fluted columns and capitals, fences and gates are all original, providing you with the quintessential French Quarter experience. Saint Philip Residence overlooks Saint Philip Street and features 15 residential-style apartments, a lush courtyard, and multiple private and semi-private balconies. In each space you will find plenty of room to relax; arranged more like apartments than a traditional hotel room. You'll feel right at home with us! Famed author Robert Stone lived here with his wife Janice when he wrote “Hall of Mirrors” in 1960. The book was later turned into a Hollywood movie called WUSA. Saint Philip Residence is the true flavor of New Orleans and has a very colorful past. In the 1940's it was a brothel run by one of New Orleans most notorious madams. The very large gallery balconies overlooking St Philip street and surrounding streets are mesmerizing and a great place for morning coffee or sipping wine in the evening, not to mention people watching as there are always events, parades, and interesting people passing by.
