GOOD TO KNOW

STAIRS: This apartment is located on the third floor and is accessible by stairs only. There is no elevator. Please consider this when booking if anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs or will be traveling with heavy luggage.

LOFT ACCESS: The twin loft is accessed by a 9-step ladder.

HISTORIC PROPERTY: Saint Philip is a historic French Quarter property dating to the 1800s. Soaring ceilings, old wood, individual layouts, and the beautiful imperfections of a historic building are part of its character.

COURTYARD-FACING: This apartment overlooks Saint Philip’s shared courtyard rather than facing directly onto the street. As with any stay in the heart of the French Quarter, occasional city sounds or activity from other guests may still be heard.

THE LOCATION

One of the best parts of staying at Saint Philip is how much of New Orleans you can experience on foot.

Bourbon Street is just steps away, while Royal Street, Jackson Square, Café du Monde, the Mississippi River, and Frenchmen Street are all within easy walking distance.

This apartment is for travelers drawn to the details that make old New Orleans special—soaring ceilings, exposed beams, a hidden loft, and views over a classic French Quarter courtyard.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to the entire apartment, including the private bedroom, loft, living area, kitchen, and bathroom.

Entry is through Saint Philip’s shared historic French Quarter courtyard. From the courtyard, stairs lead to your private third-floor apartment entrance.

Please note that this apartment is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. The loft inside the apartment is accessed by a 9-step ladder.

You’re welcome to enjoy the courtyard during your stay. This is a shared common space for all Saint Philip guests.

Self check-in is available via keypad for an easy and flexible arrival.

During your stay
We respect your privacy and make check-in seamless with self check-in and keypad access to the building and your suite.

We are available when needed and only a message or phone call away throughout your stay. Most guests enjoy a fully independent, contactless experience, but we are happy to assist if anything comes up.

Other things to note
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT
We completely understand travel schedules can vary, and when we’re able to, we’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. These are only possible when our cleaning and preparation schedule allows and cannot be guaranteed or planned in advance.

Because each stay is carefully scheduled, we’re not able to confirm these requests ahead of time, but if availability opens up closer to your arrival or departure, we’ll always reach out and let you know.

PARKING (FRENCH QUARTER)
You’re staying in the heart of the French Quarter—one of the most walkable and vibrant areas in New Orleans—so most guests find a car is not necessary during their stay.
We do not offer onsite parking. Street parking is available nearby, but it is limited, metered during the day (7 AM–7 PM) with 2-hour limits, and free overnight where permitted (7 PM–7 AM). As always in the French Quarter, please carefully follow posted signage.

There are also several nearby paid parking garages throughout the area, including Premium Parking and other private parking operators. These are independent third-party companies not affiliated with the property and operate at their own set rates and availability. Guests often find the Premium Parking app helpful for locating and reserving parking in advance.

When available, there is also a loading zone directly in front of the property that may allow for quick drop-off, pickup, or luggage loading. This is not guaranteed and is subject to city enforcement and availability.

HISTORIC FRENCH QUARTER BUILDING
You’ll be staying in a beautifully preserved early-1800s French Quarter building filled with the charm and character that make New Orleans so unique.

The home has been thoughtfully updated for modern comfort while maintaining many original architectural features, including doors, walls, and windows. These details reflect the authentic history of the building and the city itself.

Please note the property does not have an elevator, and access is via stairs.

As with many historic homes in New Orleans, you may notice natural aging or small imperfections throughout the space, these are part of its original character and not defects, but part of its story.

LOFT ACCESS
The twin bed loft is accessed via a fixed 9-step ladder (not a staircase). This space is best suited to guests who are comfortable and physically able to climb a ladder. It is not recommended for young children, guests with mobility limitations, or those uneasy on ladders. Please plan sleeping arrangements accordingly.

STAIRS
This airbnb is located onthe 3rd floor and the building does not have an elevator.
