We are happy to accommodate your fur baby, dogs only... No cats please! If you plan to bring your pet we ask that you bring blankets from home for where they're resting to help manage cleanliness for our next guests. If you plan to leave your pet, please bring a crate for them while unattended.

🌊 Lake + Beach
You’re welcome to enjoy Lake Huron for swimming, fishing, or relaxing by the water. Life jackets are recommended, especially for children.
There is a small sandy beach area, but the lake bottom can be rocky in spots—water shoes are a great idea for added comfort.

🦅 Wildlife
This is true Northern Michigan nature, and wildlife is part of the experience. It’s common to see bald eagles, ducks, geese, and deer during your stay.
And while we’d love for them to follow house rules… sometimes they leave little “reminders” behind—so just keep an eye out near the beach 🙂

🐞 Bugs (Up North Living)
Being surrounded by nature means bugs are part of the Up North experience. Our home and lawn are treated regularly, including areas near the beach, but we can’t guarantee a completely bug-free environment.
We encourage you to relax, embrace the outdoors, and enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer.
