The space
This property is 2.3 Acres of tropical forestry with 400 ft of riverfront beach. Currently we have 3 rentals on the property which house 2 adults per rental unit. There is "The Birds Eye View" rental (the little yellow house) and two private guests suites in "The Main House" (the big blue house). The two private guest suites are called "The Bamboo Suite" and "Natures Nest" (this rental).
Each rental unit has its own private entrance and does not have any indoor shared spaces. Your rental unit is private to you only. There are several outdoor common areas that may be used by any of the guests at any time. These shared spaces and amenities include -> the beachfront -> the gazebo -> the firepit -> the main deck & grill (called "The Breezeway") -> the lounge beach chairs and floating tubes.
Kayaks, on days available, can be rented for $25 per kayak, for the entire day.
The hot tub on the property is only for use with "The Birds Eye View" rental and is not for use with the "The Bamboo Suite" or "Natures Nest" rental.
This is an adults only retreat and all our guests have the highest ratings with airbnb. It is a peaceful retreat and not a party place or a place for gatherings. Only rental guests are permitted on the property. Our property is similar to a private micro-resort with up to 6 guests in total (2 adults per rental).
My husband and I live in the main house and are always available to answer questions or assistance you may need during your stay. We are always happy to offer suggestions and recommendations about the area and places to visit while here. We stay out of sight and give our guests their privacy during their stay but are always happy to meet you and give you a tour if you like.
This property has a stream that runs through it, flowing under the gazebo and into the river. There are lots of friendly wildlife (rabbits, osprey, owls, bald eagles, dolphins, cranes, woodpeckers, cardinals, finches, and our famous squirrels all named Gary). You can feed the squirrels and birds if you like. Peanuts and birdseed are available in your rental for you to feed them.
You have full access to the riverfront beach in which you may fish, sunbathe, swim, kayak, or float in the river tubes. Early in the morning til mid afternoon you can sometimes catch the dolphins and jumping mullet (fish) in the river, along with cranes, occasionally ducks, blue crabs and the occasionally a wandering manatee.
We are always glad to give you a tour of the property and or answer any questions you may have about it and its use. We are continuously adding amenities and outdoor spaces so any ideas or suggestions you may have are always welcome!
Guest access
You will first enter the property through the driveway entrance and follow the driveway to the top where you will find the parking area to the right.
*Parking - You may park in the spot that says guest parking closest to your rental.
*Door access - is by a temporary generated numeric code specifically created for you to use during your stay. The code will be sent to you the day before your arrival.
*Breezeway Deck and Grill - Any of our guests my enjoy this deck and seating area facing the beautiful river. There is a table with chairs, a gas grill and sitting bar that looks out to the river.
*The Gazebo - is available to all our guests and sits over the stream in the middle of our tropical forest. There is a round table with two chairs in which you can enjoy a meal or cocktails as well as 2 lounge chairs and table for relaxation and enjoyment.
*The firepit & seating is available to any of our guests at anytime.
*The Riverfront beach - is available to all our guests at anytime.
*Beach Lounge Chairs - are available for use by any of the guests.
*Floating river tubes are available to all our guests and can be found down at the beach.
*Kayaks available by rental if available that day.
Private Amenities that are not included with this rental is the Hot Tub.
The hot tub is a "private amenity" that is for use with the "Birds Eye View" rental only. It is NOT available for guests staying in "The Bamboo Suite" or "Natures Nest" rental.
Other things to note
Our guests are our #1 priority. We are not your ordinary airbnb rental home or suite rental; we are a destination. A peaceful retreat created solely for adults to escape the everyday busyness of life and find serenity and solace. We are the perfect place to enjoy special occasions such as anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, serene vacations, tranquil retreats and peaceful business travel.
