Welcome to Mojave Crossing, a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home nestled in the mountains above Joshua Tree. We invite you to lounge under the Joshua trees and soak in the desert views from one of our many outdoor spaces, including hot tub, cowboy pool, and yoga deck. Centrally located in Joshua Tree just 5 minutes from the downtown shops and restaurants, 10 minutes from the National Park entrance, and walking distance to local trails, our home is an ideal setting to relax and explore the high desert.
The space
Mojave Crossing is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in a quiet residential neighborhood in Joshua Tree. Our home sits on half an acre with expansive views overlooking ancient boulder mountains. Our home features a mix of finishes in a southwest modern style designed to highlight the surrounding views and create a tranquil environment to relax and enjoy the surrounding desert scenery.
LIVING
Our home features both indoor and outdoor living spaces that are a perfect to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the park. The backyard has views spanning all the way to the National Park, with multiple spaces for dining and lounging that are ideal for watching sunrises and sunsets, stargazing, and yoga. The backyard includes a luxury, large six-person hot tub that is heated year-round, as well as an 8-foot cowboy pool perfect to take a dip after a long hike. Both the pool and hot tub have covers, and are cleaned Tuesdays and Fridays. The yoga deck also offers a peaceful space for yoga and meditation in the shade of the surrounding Joshua trees. A small outdoor kitchen area with propane grill is also conveniently located by the outdoor dining table, which faces towards the mountain views.
INDOOR LIVING
The home features two indoor living spaces for relaxing and entertaining. The indoor living room is open concept with a vintage faux fireplace, record player with curated mix of new and vintage records, and a 55” smart TV with Netflix and Hulu, creating a cozy place to lounge after a day of hiking in the park. The sunroom is another favorite spot of ours to enjoy the expansive views of the ancient boulder mountains scenery from the comfort of indoors. With a large, comfortable sectional sofa, the sunroom is the perfect spot to relax, read, and gather. Note that the sunroom does not have HVAC but has a ceiling fan.
KITCHEN & DINING
Our home features a newly renovated, fully-stocked kitchen with modern appliances and built-in dishwasher. We provide complimentary medium-dark roast Joshua Tree Coffee, assorted teas, and hot chocolate for our guests to enjoy, as well as a wide range of cookware and cooking essentials such as oil, spices, coffee filters, sugar, and creamer pods. Our home also has both indoor and outdoor dining spaces to comfortably seat six with amazing views and entertaining essentials to enjoy meals at home.
BEDROOMS
Mojave Crossing has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has beautiful views overlooking ancient boulder mountains, as well as a private en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms overlook the desert valley, with access to a shared bathroom with walk-in shower down the hall. All bedrooms have queen beds with both firm and plush pillows for guest comfort.
AMENITIES
We offer a range of amenities with guest experience and convenience in mind. For families with small children, we have a pack n play, high chair, children’s utensils, a small basket of toys and board books, and a 3-stage toddler bath and are located a block from Friendly Hills Park, which has a great playground with beautiful views. We are also located 3 blocks from the Friendly Hills Hike, a beautiful local hiking trail. The home has reliable, premium high-speed WiFi and a desk in the primary bedroom that provides a private workspace. Other amenities include multiple games and puzzles, yoga mats, and books.

The entire home and 0.4 acre property is yours to enjoy during your stay, with the exception of a few locked closets.
Other things to note
Our home is located in a residential area with neighbors in close proximity, and operates under a County of San Bernardino short-term rental license with strict rules regarding noise, occupancy, and parking. Our permit allows a maximum of six registered guests (including small children) and six vehicles onsite at any time. Quiet hours in outdoor spaces are after 9pm. No loud noises (e.g. loud outdoor speakers) at any time. Commercial uses such as events and weddings are prohibited; commercial photoshoots require County permits and may be approved on a case-by-case basis, please contact us to inquire. All vehicles must be parked in the garage or driveway. Our property has exterior security cameras pointed at the front walkway and driveway to ensure these rules are adhered to. All guests must agree to a rental agreement and liability waiver. Per local government rules, this agreement must be signed prior to check-in. Thank you!
Please note, you may not exceed the number of people stated on your reservation confirmation. Additional guests can be added to the reservation for a nightly fee of $25 per guest, with approval prior to arrival.
