The space
The Loft is in a mixed-use former industrial building known as Linen on Market. directly above a chocolate shop (Cocoa & Spice) and restaurant + arcade (FIREFLY) andowned by host Jennifer.
We love being a part of this community of small businesses, which includes JBird Supply Coffee (retail coffeeshop), Plenty Cville (prepared meals),
Malleable Studios (jewelers and artisans), The Glass Palette (fused glass workshops) and more.
This is an ~800 sq ft studio apartment up one flight of stairs, with no walls separating the bedroom from the living space or the kitchen and dining areas. The bathroom is enclosed.
Sleeping spaces include a comfortable queen sized bed, a couch that opens up into a full sized bed, and a queen sized air mattress.
Full kitchen includes a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, hot water boiler, blender, and more.
You can control your own temperature with the mini split on the wall.
FIREFLY hosts Trivia Night on Tuesdays, monthly Bingo and Karaoke nights, and occasional private parties. Generally the restaurant closes by 11pm or earlier. Check out our full events calendar on our social media @fireflycville and website, or message us for details.
Guest access
The entire apartment is private for your use. The rooftop area is off limits except in an emergency.
The door code is changed between guests for security.
You are welcome to come to FIREFLY Restaurant + Game Room and Cocoa & Spice chocolate shop during open hours.
Other things to note
Important notes: The Loft is above FIREFLY Restaurant. The restaurant generally opens at 11am and closes by 11pm or earlier. However, there may be noise outside those hours as employees set up and close down, or if we have private events that run later. For your comfort, we provide a white noise machine and disposable earplugs.

FIREFLY and Cocoa & Spice are queer-owned businesses and support a diverse clientele. This apartment is a safe space for all.
As you can see from the photos, The Loft at FIREFLY is in an industrial building, and has many metal beams and posts in the ceiling. Guests should use caution when walking around the space. The outdoor rooftop is off limits except in an emergency.
We expect our guests to understand that they are staying in a unique space and to ask in advance if they have any questions to make sure this is the right fit.
