The space
Holcombe Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage located in Holcombe Brook, a 5 mins drive to the centre of Ramsbottom.
The spacious property offers 2 sizeable bedrooms, a large sleeping landing and a roomy bathroom on the first floor.
Each bedroom has 2 single zip and link beds offering flexible layouts (1 super king or 2 singles), whilst a day-bed on the landing offers 2 further adults single beds.
Travel cot available.

The spacious first floor family bathroom includes a bath and a separate large walk-in shower (refurbed 2024)
On the ground floor is an enclosed entrance porch offering a heated space for shoes and hanging for coats. From the porch you enter into a large open plan living room/diner with 2 sofas, armchair and an extendable dining table for up to 6 people. Adjacent to this area is a spacious well equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar & stools, a 6 burner SMEG range cooker, fridge freezer and a microwave. The utility room houses a washing m/c, dryer, dishwasher, a drying rack, iron and ironing board and 2 IKEA highchairs.

On the doorstep.......The Hare & Hounds pub (beer garden to the rear); along with Eleven Eleven and The Bower bars and bistro's are located within a 100m walk; as is a row of shops including the Co-op, Miles Bakery, a fish & chip shop, Lolipop gift shop, a hairdressers and a dry cleaners.
A 15 minute walk away is the atmospheric Holcombe Tap, voted Ramsbottom's cosiest pub! A slightly more energetic up hill 15 minute walk away and you can enjoy the traditional country pubThe Shoulder of Mutton. Perfect spot for a drink or food following a walk up to Holcombe Hill.
Tesco, Aldi and Morissons are located in Ramsbottom centre, 5 minutes drive.

Perfect location to stay for events and festivals in Ramsbottom and the surrounding area, including the annual Yorkshire Pudding throwing contest and the many East Lancashire Railway events.

Neighborhood highlights
Ramsbottom is famous for its music scene, restaurants, cosy pubs,shopping, independent shops, cricket, many festivals and of course the walking. Looking out of either bedroom window you can see the surrounding countryside and Peel Tower up on Holcombe Moor (National Trust); a brisk walk to the top will take you about 40 minutes, and the views are spectacular. If you like longer walks there are many more places to explore. Other places recommended to visit are Musbury Tor, Burrs Country Park, and the resevoirs at Wayoh, Entwistle and Jumbles Country Park. Ramsbottom is also home to the famous East Lancashire railway with it's delightful steam trains.
