Full of character and art Harriet's House is the perfect place to retreat into with friends and family. Inspire your creativity, explore nature or simply enjoy the outdoor sauna and cold water shower. Located in the beautiful Norfolk Broads village of Coltishall there are plenty of opportunities for walking, trail running, fishing, cycling, wild swimming and visiting one of the four excellent pubs within walking distance. The coast and the fine city of Norwich are half an hour's drive away.
The space
The property has a large open plan kitchen dining area with bifold doors opening onto a patio and the garden. There is a large entrance area at the back of the house for coats and shoes with an adjacent wet room and utility room. The living room is also on the ground floor and has a woodburner and sofa bed. The first floor comprises of 3 double bedrooms and a shared bathroom with bath and shower. On the third floor is another double bedroom with an adjoining room suitable for a cot, work place or playroom. There is a small shower bathroom on this floor too.
The front of the house is a complementary health care practice and is not accessible to guests in the weekdays. There is a driveway suitable for two cars to park in. There is additional on street free parking outside the house.
The inside is on many levels and has two spiral staircases. Therefore sadly it is not suitable for immobile, elderly or extremely young people.
Guest access
The whole house is for you to use. The front of the property is a two room complementary health practice which is in use in the weekdays. For this reason there is a door off the kitchen which is locked. This should not affect the amenity of your stay at Harriet's House.
Other things to note
Massage, reflexology, Reiki, meditation, homeopathy, tarot card readings, private sound baths and osteopathy appointments are usually available to book during your stay.
