The open-plan layout includes modern kitchen with full sized appliances and everything you need to prepare a relaxed meal. Essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, oil and thoughtful extras are provided, along with farm-fresh eggs from our hens. Guests are welcome to pick herbs and seasonal produce from the garden when available.

The lounge provides a comfortable space to unwind, complete with a smart TV, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and LED lighting throughout. The queen bed is dressed in professionally laundered natural linen, with USB plug points beside the bed for your devices.

A sliding barn door opens to the modern bathroom, with deep-coloured tiles, a stone top vanity and a rainfall shower. Quality towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided.

French doors lead out to a private garden courtyard framed by mallee trees, aloes, flowering succulents, kitchen garden with a BBQ and outdoor dining area beneath the pergola.

Reliable high speed Wi-Fi, mobile coverage, and onsite parking make your stay both comfortable and convenient.

Figbrook Farm is a small working fig orchard and retreat surrounded by vineyards and native mallee trees. The farm is a short stroll from the wetlands of the Murray River, where pelicans and spoonbills glide through the shallows.

The cottage sits gently in the centre of the property, surrounded by permaculture gardens and native plantings that attract birds and pollinators throughout the year. Guests often describe it as a place that feels timeless, where contemporary comfort meets the natural rhythm of farm life.

Figbrook Farm is a working property, and from time to time you may hear a passing tractor, harvester, or farm machinery in the distance — it’s all part of the authentic Riverland experience and the rhythm of life on the land.

We provide professionally laundered linen, fresh farm eggs, and starter provisions such as coffee, tea, milk, and cooking basics. Guests are welcome to enjoy herbs and seasonal produce from the gardens when available.

House rules: no pets, no parties or events, and no smoking indoors. Only booked guests are permitted on the property unless agreed with the hosts in advance.
