Our stay at Cockatoo Cottage in the Adelaide Hills was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, Kathy and Michel went above and beyond to make our trip special. Their attentiveness and great communication made us feel welcome and cared for. Kathy even surprised me with a birthday cake and balloons, adding a personal touch to our Melbourne getaway. The cottage was a dream. Nestled in a serene, private garden, it offered plenty of spots to relax and unwind. The outdoor facilities were perfect for soaking in the surroundings, and the charming decor reflected the love and care poured into every detail. The bed was super comfortable, and we felt right at home from the start. Kathy’s welcome basket—filled with fresh eggs, bread, yogurt, and more—was a treat, fueling our mornings before exploring Adelaide’s wine region. Absolutely what we needed. Awesome location. Close to bus stops, cafés and restaurants. Comfortable beds and lounge. Fully equipped kitchen ro cook meals.

Nicks place is absolutely awesome, it was very clean, tidy and spacious. Perfect location to explore a wonderful region of SA. We had lots of fun with the jukebox! Communication with Nick was excellent, what a beautiful home, we look forward to returning, thanks for having us!

Wonderful stay. Kids loved the warm tub esp when it was cold days and beach wasn’t an option. Entertainment area is very nice to sit and relax while watching kids swim. Close location to good wine farms and other beaches. Overall great holiday away

Fantastic host. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds lying there listening to the waves on the beach and the shower was amazing. I didn’t want to get out. Great location with beautiful views of the ocean and walk up the hill for more views of the river and marina. Nice stroll into Glenelg City and a short drive into Adelaide. Definitely recommended and I will rebook when I am lucky enough to go back.

Absolutely loved our stay!!! We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer ! The bed is soooo comfortable and the whole room was amazingly clean and smelled soo clean too, it was perfection. Everything you needed for a few nights stay! Beach is so close too and close to winery’s! We will be back for sure!! Thanks Roshan !

We stayed here over a wedding weekend and had an absolutely beautiful and relaxing stay! The view was picturesque, every detail was catered to, and the airbnb itself was spotless and gorgeously styled. The breakfast box, drinks, and snacks were a delightful touch, and so thoughtfully catered to our dietary needs. The record player was a lovely surprise and added to the relaxing vibe. We've been inspired to find one for our own home! Thank you Luke and Aylwen for an amazing stay. We will be sure to repeat stay here when next in Adelaide.

Beautiful little gem! Right in the heart of Adelaide hills and only an hour out of the city, but still felt peaceful, faraway and private.
