Lake Cumberland Glamping is an intimate glamp-ground that boasts three fully furnished glamping tents along with Whiskey Rocks cabin and our newest addition, Bear Necessities- Tiny Home. Pitch Don’t Kill My Vibe each has a queen and full bed. The S’more the Merrier offers a queen and two twins. Buoy Bliss offers a king. For the boujee queens and/or snorers of the group that need sturdier walls, Whiskey Rock (W.R.)should do just fine. W.R. has a king, full, and two twin beds. (Plenty of room to throw all the snorers in there if you need to.) Tents are located on the lakefront portion of the property. Bear Necessities is a tiny home with a bedroom with a queen bed, loft with a full bed, full kitchen and bath. Parking lot is roadside.
Around the property you’ll find a community style fire pits and private fire pits next to each stay. There are also several picnic tables and a propane grill for your convenience. There is a shared bathhouse that holds two family style bathrooms. Very large and open so you can come in, hang your things up/sit them down, and enjoy a shower after a long day on the water. (Great water pressure here with waterfall showerheads!)
We are only a mere 5 minutes from General Burnside Island as well as Burnside Marina! If you’re unsure of how to spend your time we do provide an informative packet in every stay that includes destinations we think you might like. Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have about local attractions as well!
At this time we DO NOT allow pets. We do have a glamp-ground mascot, CJ, who is available if you need any cuddles.
Generally most of our glamp-stars spend a good majority of time outside. Since we are located right on Lake Cumberland, on a wooded lot, you will likely encounter insects and wildlife. Be prepared for any of the following: ticks, mosquitos, deer, and snakes. We have also had a bear enter the property through our infamous neighborhood "bear hole" on our adjoining property in the past.
*Firewood available for purchase on the honor system, located by the bathhouse for $6/bundle CASH ONLY.
A gas grill and picnic tables are available.
You have a gorgeous lake view from the property, but no easy lake access direct from the property. There is a community-shared access trail to the lake. A few things to note: the decline is fairly steep, you’ll want to wear good shoes to get down due to rocks and some debri left by other (not so thoughtful) users, grab the camp chairs we leave under your bed (make sure to bring them back with you). However, the end result is a beautiful shore-side view of the lake with the perfect rock ledge to dip your toes or go for a swim!
You also can visit Pulaski Co. Park for a day at the “lake beach” or Somersplash water park for some fun in the sun if you are coming without a boat.
Our shared bathhouse features two private bathrooms that each include a shower, toilet, sink, and electrical outlets. You will need to provide your own towels, washcloths, and toiletries.

All four tents, Whiskey Rocks Cabin, Blue Bird the RV, bathhouse fire pits ..The entire place is all yours!
