We're excited to introduce one of the most unique stays in Lake Lure—a beautifully upgraded mountain retreat celebrating the movie that made the area famous. Tucked away on a private mountain road just minutes from Downtown Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, this home offers the perfect mix of privacy, nostalgia, and modern comfort.

From the moment you walk downstairs, you'll feel like you've stepped onto a movie set. The lower level is filled wall-to-wall with Dirty Dancing memorabilia, plus tributes to other iconic films that were filmed in the Lake Lure area. It's the perfect place to relive the magic, challenge your group to a game of foosball, relax in the spacious lounge, and enjoy the additional bathroom and sleeping space with three beds.

Upstairs, the home features a cozy loft with its own private seating area—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or curling up with a good book. On the main level, you'll find a spacious primary suite, an additional queen bedroom, and a large open-concept kitchen that's made for gathering. With plenty of seating at both the dining table and oversized island, everyone can enjoy meals together after a day of exploring.

Outside, unwind on the peaceful mountain decks surrounded by nature while still being just minutes from the shops, restaurants, and attractions of Downtown Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

A few things to know:
The private gravel driveway is steep, so AWD or 4WD is recommended. Don't worry—there's plenty of parking available on the flatter road just above the home if you'd rather avoid driving all the way down.

Whether you're a lifelong Dirty Dancing fan or simply looking for a memorable mountain getaway, this home is unlike anything else in the area.

Guests will have full access to the entire home. There is plenty of parking for multiple cars, however, only AWD or 4WD vehicles should park all the way down the driveway.

Other things to note
The home is located off a gravel road. While the driveway is steep and requires an AWD or 4WD to avoid getting stuck, there is plenty of parking on the private road above the driveway.
