Perched on a hillside overlooking the Bay of Fundy, this lighthouse-shaped cottage offers a cozy one-bedroom retreat that captures the spirit of coastal living. The top-floor living room is the highlight, with panoramic windows showcasing stunning ocean views and the nearby sea caves. From this elevated space, guests can relax and take in the ever-changing seascape. A short walk down the hill leads directly to the beach.

Guests & Accessibility
Please contact the host before booking if your group exceeds 5 guests. Due to stairs throughout, this cottage is not suitable for young children and guests must be comfortable with a multi-level layout.

Laundry (Extended Stays)
Laundry access can be arranged for longer stays. Cleaning staff use the machines between 11 AM and 3 PM, so availability is required during these hours.

No pets

Guest access
Enjoy full, private access to the Lighthouse Cottage throughout your stay. A nearby mechanical building houses our laundry facilities, and staff may be on-site briefly for laundry or maintenance. Your privacy is important to us, and we work to minimize any disruption. Laundry is reserved for staff use daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Other things to note
This unique three-storey cottage is best suited for guests who are comfortable with stairs. The access road and gravel driveway are functional but rustic; please drive slowly, especially as the driveway winds uphill. The cottage was completed in December 2023, with final landscaping details still being completed.

The Lighthouse Cottage was originally designed as a one-bedroom retreat for couples or small groups. Due to guest requests, we have added two convertible couches and a sofa bed to accommodate additional guests. Please note that the only permanent bed is the king-size bed in the bedroom.

This property does not accommodate pets. An undisclosed pet may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.

If arriving after dark, please watch for two lights at the end of the driveway to guide you in.

For your comfort and peace of mind, the cottage is equipped with a Generac backup power system, which will automatically power the home during an outage. A lightning protection system has also been installed to help keep guests safe during storms.

The electric fireplace is for ambience only. Heating is provided by a heat pump and an electric fan heater on this level.

I’m a teacher who somehow ended up owning three cottages in St. Martins! What started as a longtime dream has grown into something I truly love—especially the Lighthouse Cottage, which still feels a little unreal to see completed. I’ve been coming to St. Martins since I was a child and have been a full-time summer resident since 2013. I enjoy sharing this special place with guests and helping them feel right at home.
