Cottage in Miramichi by all sand beach with 3 bdrm
We've had a fantastic weekend! It's a very quiet area with amazing beach and great fishing - we couldn't ask better for catching up! Jenn was fantastic, always responsive and helpful!

Star gazing hot tub/King beds/Welcome US guests
We only stayed two nights at Cassie and Dave’s beautiful lake house, but immediately felt right at home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the cottage was pristine with a lovely setup. We took so many photos of the changing skies from the back deck. The lake is very peaceful and quiet. Since we visited in April, we didn’t get a chance to go swimming in the lake, which has a sandy beach entry point, but we did get to enjoy the super clean hot tub! We brought our two dogs and they had a fun time too! The hosts left a number of helpful amenities, including some snacks and Easter candy! Thanks again, Cassie and Dave, for the warm welcome and for sharing this special spot! p.s. Five Kings in downtown St. Stephen’s has excellent food and is worth checking out!

Ocean Front Tiny Home Little Gray (pet friendly)
We loved our stay at the Tiny House for a second time, very peaceful ! We will definitely be returning !

Kapusta (Sunrise) 2 bedroom Cottage
My family and I stayed two nights and had the best time. Joe had everything we needed. We stayed over thanksgiving weekend so we could go fishing, cooked a turkey and didn’t have to leave our pup home with a sitter. Beautiful property, so peaceful and my daughter loved the fire pit. Thank you for your hospitality! We will be back Ashley and Duane

Lakeview Cottage on Zwickers Lake
Great location for getting away from everyday life. multiple lodgings if ever you want to rent as a family unit. the water access and equipment is a bonus!

Seaside Cottage
Amazing view of Cape Split and Bay of Fundy. Outside decks were ample and close enough to town for some Thai food. Home was simple, quaint and cozy. Great spot and Sheila was more than accommodating to getting me into the house on short notice. THANK YOU Sheila!

Cozy Cottage (New Hot tub!) Year Round!
Stunning spot with beautiful views! We felt so comfortable here, would absolutely stay again in the future.

River Valley Escape Rental Cottage
Our stay at Marie and Harry’s River Valley Escape was incredible! The place was spotless, quiet, and exactly as described. The hot tub and sauna were a dream, offering ultimate relaxation. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making for restful nights. The hosts were kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
Other great vacation rentals in New Brunswick

La Maison Blanche with sea view
It was such a lovely home. We enjoyed it a lot. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. And the living space was great for us. We did a lot, despite the weather! We loved the Veloroute and will go back to do more of it. It was fun for us, especially the boardwalk (that we could cycle) at Shippagan. Also, we had never heard of the Acadian Historic Village and it was well worth a visit. We went to the Miscou Lighthouse, walked the Miscou Bog Trail, visited the "Candy" Church, and just had a great time with our friends from Ontario.

Family Place that Feels like Home
Very clean, modern, and user friendly. Will definitely repeat

Driftwood Oasis
Caleb's place was exactly as advertised. and well worth the price. The view out the front was fantastic and the road was very quiet. The house appeared to be almost new, was very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen with all the dishes and utensils we needed. We will definitely stay again when we return to Grand Manan.

Seaside Luxury Loft
Nice loft and well equipped. I like the welcome package that Tammy left. It is very thoughtful. Great view of the ocean however to access it you will need a short drive or a short kayak trip across the pond.

Little River Rental 2
Annie’s tiny home was beautiful inside and out. It was a very peaceful place to be, I enjoyed every minute of being there. I’d definitely come back again in a heartbeat. She was very friendly and responded quickly. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Relaxing Rural Lakeside Home
Our group of six enjoyed the cottage and bunkie. There is a lot of room to spread out and pursue different activities. The deck on the lake is a highlight. There are plenty of board games and comfy seating inside if the weather isn't cooperating. It was warm and cozy when the temperature dropped in early November. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area - Annapolis Royal, Kejimkujik Park, and Digby. The property is in a remote lakeside location in a small cottage community.

Little Brook air BNB
Carl's place was an amazing spot. so peaceful and lots of wildlife around. it was great in the winter but I am sure it would be even more amazing in the summer when the river is not frozen.

The Great Escape luxury dome: Poley Mtn, Fundy
Absolutely loved our stay! Place was beautiful & Peaceful. Easy access to the trails! Will definitely be back!
Your guide to New Brunswick
All About New Brunswick
One of Canada’s easternmost states, New Brunswick is an ecologically and culturally diverse province that blends rolling evergreen forests, coastal grass plains, and rural farm communities with hundreds of miles of rugged shores and sandy beaches and buzzing cities. Recognized for its vast swathes of wilderness teeming with wild salmon, bears, moose, elk, and deer, New Brunswick draws outdoors enthusiasts looking for adventure.
Areas like Fundy National Park, Kennedy Lakes Park, Jacquet River Gorge, and the Loch Alva Wilderness Area offer endless opportunities for hiking, cycling, kayaking, fishing, and wildlife spotting in picturesque surroundings. The cities of Fredericton and Moncton offer a range of attractions, from brewpubs and museums to historical districts and art galleries. And with the major hubs of Halifax, Quebec City, and Montreal in neighboring provinces, it’s easy to soak up even more local flavor — whether you’re sampling fresh fiddleheads in the spring or drizzling maple syrup over pancakes.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in New Brunswick
The northern coastal climate of New Brunswick experiences significant variations in conditions throughout the year. The summer months are characterized by warmer temperatures and long sunny days that are great for taking advantage of water-based activities and community events like the Buskers on the Bay Festival in July — check out food stalls, children’s games, and a packed program of live music — and the Fundy Fringe Festival, which showcases independent dance, comedy, and performance art in August. Winters in the area can be frigidly cold, with modest snowfall in the lower elevations and higher quantities in the mountains that make for excellent skiing in the province’s many resorts. The shoulder seasons can also be great times to book vacation rentals due to the dramatic autumn hues in the fall, vibrant blossoms in the spring, and mild temperatures that invite hiking through the area’s vast evergreen forests.
Top things to do in New Brunswick
Kouchibouguac National Park
Located on the Acadian Coast, the Kouchibouguac National Park is home to lush forests, salt marshlands, and beaches. The saltwater lagoon that runs through the park is an excellent place to kayak or canoe, and you might even spot members of the resident colony of gray seals. There are nearly 40 miles of trails that you can hike or mountain bike on, with difficulty levels ranging from novice to expert. An interpretive Mi’kmaq wigwam provides opportunities to learn about the Indigenous peoples who originally called this region home, a connection that the park is committed to preserving. During winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowboarders.
Fredericton
The provincial capital of Fredericton is a lively cultural center on the Saint John River. The historic Garrison District has an outdoor theater, art studios, and night markets — and the highest concentration of breweries in eastern Canada. You’ll also find eye-catching murals on Queen Street, along with the Fredericton Region Museum, where you can learn about the area’s history from its original First Nation residents to the present.
Hopewell Rocks
This collection of water-eroded rock formations along the vast Bay of Fundy is uncovered at low tide. Head into Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park to explore sea caves, tidal pools, and waterfalls and watch sea life on the exposed ocean floor. With several miles of trail systems in the surrounding park, there are plenty of scenic hiking and cycling opportunities.
