This thoughtfully curated home includes a chef’s kitchen, wood stove, multiple work stations, indoor & outdoor gathering spaces, and a fenced-in dog run. The space
While the home is equipped to host 8, we think the perfect group size is about 6. We’re happy to host all 8, but do keep it mind that it will be a cozier stay.
LIVING SPACE:
- An open concept kitchen, spacious dining table that doubles as the perfect work station for up to 8, and TV area with sectional and hanging chair sit beneath vaulted wood beam ceilings.
- The wood stove anchors the room, offering a cozy backdrop and environmentally friendly way to keep the house warm.
- The sectional opens up into a Queen bed.
KITCHEN:
- The kitchen is a true chef’s kitchen, featuring double ovens, Zline gas range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and ample counter space. We have dishes for 8, all utensils you’ll need, high quality pots and pans, a spice rack, and a toaster for your use.
BEDROOMS:
- The ground floor bedroom features a King canopy bed, a secret reading nook, and a gathering space that opens out onto the patio.
- The first upstairs bedroom includes a King bed and a desk overlooking the woods in your backyard.
- The second upstairs bedroom includes a King bed and a spacious seating area.
BATHROOMS:
Both bathrooms are newly renovated. The downstairs bathroom features a walk-in shower, while the upstairs bathroom boasts a deep soaking tub and an exhaust fan that doubles as Bluetooth speakers!
OUTDOOR SPACE
- There is also a fenced-in dog pen for those dogs who, like Cleo, haven’t quite mastered recall.
- To the back of the house, you will find an outdoor dining space with a grill. This area is adjacent to the dog pen and can be completely enclosed by closing both gates.
- Go through the gates to our expansive backyard, which features a seating area surrounding a fire bowl.
- Please note that the driveway to our property is relatively steep and long. If you are booking in the winter or during any time where there is a possibility of snow, please make relevant preparations and come with a vehicle equipped to handle the snowfall of upstate New York. If you experience significant snowfall during your stay, we will make sure the driveway is salted and plowed as quickly as possible!
Guest access
The house sits on 2 acres, which includes a private pond. Deer and other animals often visit the property. Feel free to roam and explore the land!
Other things to note
- The Cabin has exterior cameras. The cameras are used to confirm the number of guests in the house. Parties or extra guests outside the maximum allowed occupancy are not permitted.
- Keep in mind that we run on septic, so please do not flush anything besides toilet paper.
- We do not have a generator at this moment.
- If you would like to bring your dogs, please add them to the reservation. As much as we love our furry friends, they do require more clean-up than humans do, so there is a $50 dog fee, in addition to any costs incurred by damages. We cannot accommodate cats or puppies under 8 months. Please don’t forget to add a picture of your furry friend to our dog wall!
- Please note that ticks and bugs are a regular part of Upstate New York. Please be aware and check yourself after spending time outside.
