'Barnacles' is a beautiful Edwardian, 4 star Gold, maisonette, complete with magnificent sea views in the heart of historic Lyme Regis. Barnacles was fully refurbished to a high standard less than 5 years ago, providing high quality family accommodation. It is modern, light and airy with a cosy courtyard garden, 2 parking spaces and located only a short stroll from all local amenities including the beach. Barnacles has been a successful holiday let for nearly 5 years with many repeat bookings.

The space
Barnacles is comprised of the top 2 levels of an Edwardian Semi-detached house. There is a cosy courtyard garden to the front of the property, complete with sea view, BBQ and outdoor dining furniture. Please note, the roof terrace is shared with adjoining house although they have padlocked their access door and do not use the roof terrace. A fold up table and 4 fold up chairs are accessible to be used by guests on the roof terrace but need to be removed after use in event of high winds. Children need to be supervised at all times on the roof terrace. Please no pets, sorry.

Other things to note
The fridge is small as it is built in, under the counter, it doesn’t have a freezer. A Tesco and Co-op supermarket are a few minutes walk away so it is easy to re-stock the fridge on a frequent basis.

Some road or pedestrian noise may be heard in the master double bedroom, on the front of the house, as is common in such a central location.

The 2 parking spaces are behind the property. There is a short steep uphill walk to get from the parking to the front door to access the apartment. There is no rear access to the apartment.

The property is located on the first and second floor of an Edwardian semi-detached house. There is a staircase to enter the property and a further staircase to access the second floor bedrooms within the property. These staircases, in addition to the steep nature of the local roads, would not make this apartment suitable for those with limited mobility.

We are often asked why we don't have separate recycling bins. Our commercial waste provider sorts the waste after collection so you don't need to.

Lyme Regis sandy beach is less than a 10 minute stroll, whilst shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and award wining gardens can be reached in a 2 minute stroll. A fantastic children's playground is a 10 minute walk, the working town Mill and River Lym is a 5 minute walk, the Dinosaurland fossil museum, Lyme Regis museum, small aquarium and crazy golf is all within a 10 minute walk.

A 20 minute walk takes you to a beach along the Jurassic coastline, famous for finding fossils.
