Step inside and you're greeted by comfortable living area featuring a cozy sofa that invites you to kick back and unwind. Enjoy movie nights or lazy mornings laying in a queen bed in front of the 40-inch TV, ideal for streaming your favorite shows on a rainy day.

The studio flows seamlessly into a well-equipped kitchenette featuring a charming retro refrigerator that adds a fun pop of personality while providing functionality storing snacks and drinks needed after a day of adventure. The kitchenette has a two-burner countertop unit and multi microwave/convection oven/broiler/air-fry unit. There is also a dining table that offers a spot to enjoy meals. This studio even has a drop down desk with plenty of outlet space so you can plan the day's activities or even set up a laptop for remote work.

A dedicated dresser provides ample space to unpack and settle in, so you truly feel at home rather than living out of a suitcase. Getting ready for a special event? You'll appreciate the iron, ironing board, and full-length mirror that make it easy to look your best!

For guests with an active lifestyle, the studio shines. A closet offers convenient storage for golf clubs, hiking gear, or outdoor equipment.

One of the true highlights of this studio is the incredible outdoor space. You can immerse yourself in nature as you sip your morning coffee of wind down in the evening with a spectacular sunset. Surrounded by peaceful sights and sounds, its the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

Guest access
Guests will enjoy full access to the entire studio and will be able to park two vehicles in the spots outside.Guests will find 4 guest passes inside of the home that must be left in the home upon departure. The guest passes will grant them access to all of the amenities within the Rumbling Bald community as well as some select events and activities.

Other things to note
This studio is secluded in the mountains and the nearest city is about a 30-40 minute drive. While this setting offers an unforgettable mountain vacation, it also is accompanied by spotty cell phone service. We recommend that you print out directions and check-in instructions before travelling in case you lose cell service along the drive.

Lake Lure is still in the restoration process from Hurricane Helene damage. The lake is expected to be open to the public in May 2026. In the meantime, guests have access to Bald Mountain Lake, another lake on the property.

All other amenities are fully restored.
