Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris' place. The views were great as expected. If you go, be sure to make time to enjoy the sunset. Chris and team were very helpful. The check in was easy and they provided us with great information about what to see and do in the area. We arrived early and were able to get into the house right away. The house was clean and comfortable. The area felt very safe. The gravel drive to the house is a bit rocky but no different than other roads in the area -- a higher clearance vehicle is nice but not required. We would certainly stay there again.

It was the second time we stayed at Bertha’s place. It is a nature lovers dream and there is much to see on the grounds including birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. The town of Bijagua is easily drivable for restaurants along with other parks in the area! We would stay again in the future. Highly recommended!!

We were 3 couples, 2 rooms had their own bathroom which was wonderful. It is a condominium of separate houses (it is not a tower building), the pool and BBQ area is shared, very quiet. The property is gated, so entry and exit is very safe. It's a perfect location to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city centers, and even the route to get there is quite quiet.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Jessica was an amazing host, with exceptional details and directions to the house and local recommendations that were spot on places to visit. Dillan was there to meet us and show us the place and make check-in and check out very easy. Her house is a fantastic place to stay in El Jobo. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach and the location gives you peace and serenity being right with nature, without being far from anything. The stars at night are amazing!!! We tried local restaurants like El Indio, shopped at the little store across the street and made the beautiful drive to La Cruz for coffee at Punta Descartes. We enjoyed the house and property so much. It couldn't have been a better experience. Jessica was so communicative and welcoming - she even sent a note to wish me happy birthday while we were staying there. She made it feel like we were staying at the home of a close friend. We enjoyed it all so much!

Unfortunately, we only stayed at the property for one night during our tour of Costa Rica – but would have loved to have stayed longer! The location is wonderfully quiet and private, perfect for relaxing. Julieta and Elmer were great hosts and responded super fast. 🙂 We really didn't miss anything – the kitchen was superbly equipped and there were even extra towels for the pool. 🏊‍♀️ An absolute feel-good place – clear recommendation! ☀️

We spent a beautiful week at Casa Mariposa. We were 4 adults and 4 teens and the space was perfect for us. The house was spacious and there was lots of room for everyone. The location was great and very walkable to good restaurants and the spectacular beach! Appreciated the ample number of beach towels, the beach chairs and the tent. We would love to go back one day!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 11. The pool and outdoor lounge area were perfect for relaxing, and the location was great—close to restaurants, with one beach within walking distance and others just a short drive away. The gated property and alarm system made us feel very safe. Highly recommend for a fun and stress-free getaway!

I loved this house because of the big windows looking over the trees. We had a group of monkeys visit the balcony. Breakfast was good.

We just had a 5-day stay at Drew's apartment at Playa Grande. Absolutely loved the location, easy access in and out, walkability to the beach and restaurants, great room sizes, large deck, pool option, and excellent commucation from the owners. Definitely great value for the price!

Cute Condominium, Spectacular view from the terrace and close to several beaches to visit, Restaurants and Supermarkets. Paul is very kind and attentive, I highly recommend it!

Very beautiful accommodation, comfortable and spacious, only the bedroom is a little small but the rest is comfortable. It is located within a lot with many houses but it is very well cared for and is quiet. The location is excellent, just one block from downtown. I loved it and would definitely come back.

A good stay in Las Catalinas, very friendly and helpful staff; the house and the beach were all perfect, the only drawback was the hidden expenses they charge you at check-out.

Ideal location to rest without external elements that interfere with the serenity of the place, relaxing, spacious, beautiful views. A strategic location and easy to relax and visit nearby places to venture into the mountains. Very natural space 🙏

Great pad, close to everything from shopping, restaurants, bars, beach. On a quiet street away from all the tourists but a few steps to all that you need. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in town. Stephanie was super nice and a wealth of local knowledge that was very helpful in navigating my stay.

David was easy to coordinate with, told us everything we needed to know, and even carried our bags after a long drive and days of adventuring! The condo was spotless and temperature controls were easy. Views out the front windows and from the pools are beautiful. While we weren't there long enough to cook, it looked like the kitchen was very well stocked - thank you for the bag of coffee so we could enjoy a cup by the pool each morning! We appreciated the beach towels and the ability to do our laundry before heading back. Very pleased with our choice of accomodations for our short time in Playa Flamingo!

Jessica's place was amazing! We are a family of 4 and it fit us perfectly! The beds were very comfortable, plenty of blankets, pillows and extra sheets for a pull out bed in the couch (the couch bed wasn't very comfortable but what pull out bed really is, our son loved it and said it perfectly fine). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals. The grocery store is within walking distance. We walked to the pools, played pickle ball at the courts and relaxed in the hot tub. The security guards were very nice and we felt very safe. We will be back!

We loved our stay here! We were a family of 4 with 2 young kids. the pool was great, and the beach is just a few minutes walk away. the apartment was very clean and had everything you would need. short walk to supermarket and restaurants. we were very happy with our stay!

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

This place has everything you need! Spices, beach chairs and towels! Well stocked for a great stay. However there is construction going on next door that we were unaware about. Otherwise this place was great!

We were 2 adults and 2 kids staying in Sean's beautiful place. It's big, plenty of space and a balcony with unbelievable views! The best thing was a private beach just a few steps away, perfect for relaxing and swimming. Another bigger beach is about 10-15 minutes to walk or a couple minute drive. We came during off season so it was very quiet which was perfect for us. We also walked about 10 min to the Marina for a boat tour which was very convenient. Thank you, Sean!
